Hopefully yall like your quotes from my dragon rider WIP: Riding Storms 👀👀 thank you everyone who submitted a word!!

_____

Hey! I’m Thea, a college student writing two WIPs:

☀️”The Sun Bleeds Red” | a New Adult, dark/high fantasy that explores themes of imperialism and colonialism, loosely based off the Age of Exploration

🐉”Riding Storms” | a New Adult dystopian/fantasy with dragon riders meeting the modern times (unfortunately based off of current events in the US)

My plans & goals going forward for my current wip Project: Peregrine.

It’s feels incredible having imagined getting to this point and now here I am. One step closer to my ultimate goal. I watch a lot of author YouTube and I know there are a lot of recommendations and standards many authors live by but what’s so great about creating something for yourself is you can tackle its creation however you want.

My 2nd draft was a full rewrite and now draft 3 I am doing line editing when I want to be editing chapters after I’ve read them and marked them up. It’s often said to be a mistake or “backtracking” but for me it works so I’m going to do that 😌

Why do you write? Who do you write for?
☆
Hey, I'm offline poetry, and it's nice to meet you. I'm a queer teen author in high school who decided to start sharing their writing online to find people who love the same things they do :)

This post ideas came to me randomly a few weeks ago and I thought it would be a sweet way for me + some of my friends to share a part of ourselves. Make sure to go support everyone mentioned here!! 🫶

part two of the writer besties who inspire me during this women’s history month ! 💐✨

So incredibly honored to have enough of you that I had to make a part two! My love and adoration for this community runs so deep. You all motivate me so much to pursue this dream and to keep going. Each one of you have such incredible stories I can’t wait to read and characters I can’t wait to fall in love with. Without your unwavering support and your constant excitement, this wouldn’t be the same. Thank you 💕

If you’re new here, allow me to introduce you to my works-in-progress! ✨

Blackwell is my gilmore girls x dark academia project that follows Delilah and Nikolai, who’re inspired by Rory and Logan, but they get the happy ending they were robbed of on the show. Delilah transfers to her parents’ alma mater after receiving letters from her dead father urging her to uncover a family secret that could change everything she’s ever known.

✨Looking Back On 1 Year Of Writergram✨

I can’t believe it has been a year already!!! How!?

I am so grateful that I finally took the plunge and made this account a year ago. Writergram has taught me so so much and I have gained so many friends, so much knowledge and so much joy from my time spent among this community.

Having a whole new support system and being able to watch my fellow writers grow and publish all around me has been so amazing and I can’t wait until one day I can share my own announcement of publication with all of you!

Here is to another year of writergram!

This year's personal art growth was amazing! I havent had the creative spirit in a long time but thanks to everyone that participated in my events, classes, and social gatherings I've regained the motivation to make art for fun again instead of work! Im really grateful to you all, my family, and friends❤️❤️❤️
