Such an amazing Ribbon Cutting ceremony and opening of Cafe Mesa yesterday! Loved learning more about the history of this park as the original hub of community in Costa Mesa and looking forward to being a part of bringing that back.

Swing by today from 10-3 or catch us Thursdays - Sundays 9-5pm starting on the 29th for soft serve, coffee, tea, and snacks on your next trip to Lions Park.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the ribbon-cutting celebration! We’re so excited to welcome the community to Café Mesa and see this new chapter begin at Lions Park.✨

🚧Construction is still underway at Shalimar Park, but today we added something special to the sidewalks!✨

We celebrated four talented Costa Mesa kids who won our Sidewalk Poetry Project contest by stamping their original poems into the park’s sidewalks for the community to enjoy for years to come.🫶

We were proud to be joined by Mayor Pro Tem Manuel Chavez, Council Member Arlis Reynolds, Arts Commissioner Charlene Ashendorf, and our dedicated Parks and Public Works staff and contractors, who are working hard to bring this upgraded park to life! 🛝🌳
