So why was I away??

I participated in the women’s modern duet choreography dance residency at @moulinbelleperigord - I was there to photograph the creative process as a way to expand my own experience as an artist and to be a part of the process as I record the process…everything was a rough draft..new ideas percolating..a time for trying new things with new people in an environment of openness.

I got to work with several women I had never met before including:

@angelazballet
@minawillis
@cmhowe1

and @yang_sun47 whom I had known in NYC.

It was a fun and beautiful time…it got me out of my usual schedule and activities…as an empty- nester..I had the time to explore…additionally it was a gateway to visit old and kind friends who live in Europe… I am so lucky and honored to live this sweet life!

I’m coming home today! See you in Brooklyn this weekend at the #cityofforestday event at 6/15 Green at 1pm for @andrea_haenggi 💚🌳

🌙Choreographers Spotlight🌙

Our next choreographer is Christine Howe, if you look at her dancers costumes you might notice some similarities to her outfits!

Title: enmeshed
Music: The Black Dog, Sophia Loizou, Lucy Gooch, Francesca Guccione with River Camille & Soundscape Architects

Program Note: “A mycelial network is a map of a fungus’ recent history and is a helpful reminder that all life forms are in fact processes not things. The “you” of five years ago was made different from stuff than the “you” of today. Nature is an event that never stops” - Merlin Sheldrake, Entangled Life

enmeshed was recently performed at Ohio University for the East Central regional conference of the American College Dance Association
