This was one of the best powerlifting experiences I’ve ever been in. From the preparation with @riseup.fitness.studio, we built not just ourselves but A TEAM 🤍 and in last week’s CNL Agkaysa Powerlifting Cup 2026 was the best stage to express what we’ve built.

Thank you @riseup.fitness.studio team for all your support. I’m so proud and honoured to be lifting and fighting alongside with you guys❤️‍🔥 You know who you are 🤍🤍🤍

Thank you to the organizers of the event for making this possible!

Thank you, @coach.a.dc , for always believing in me, even on the days when I doubted myself. Your guidance, patience, and support have meant so much to me throughout my training. I’m truly grateful to have you by my side.

Huge fan of joining competitions and failing in front of many people. Because then you realize that the people who matter will still love and respect you, failures and all. And you realize, not just in your head, but in your soul and your GUT, that failure is nothing to be afraid of. Over time, picking yourself up and trying again just becomes easy and natural. Kaya tara, laban tayo! Masaya, pramis.

This competition set a pretty high bar - everything on time down to the second, great venue, great people, cute dogs everywhere!!! ❤️ #cnlagkaysapowerliftingcup2026

PS. Thank you @glitter.morena for being THE BEST hype woman 😍🫂

I’m still reeling from the emotional rollercoaster of last weekend. I haven’t had the time to process everything that happened yet, so expect a lengthy post on that soon.

But I’m posting this now to celebrate what I thought wasn’t possible.

This was a long time coming, but I can finally call myself a powerlifting athlete. 🖤

Yesterday, I woke up feeling like the weight of the world was on my shoulders. And no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t snap out of it.

During the team training, all I could think of was how to keep myself from breaking down.

I was keeping it together until I failed a lift that I knew I can lift on a normal day. I wasn’t disappointed or angry. I was just tired. Tired of keeping everything in.

So, I let it all out on the platform. Instead of chasing after the numbers, I let myself feel the weight, trust in what my body was trained to do, and to just be in the moment.

I was surrounded by people who cheered for me, supported me, and made sure I felt safe and loved. All that’s left for me to do was to open myself up and to accept that I am worthy of all of this.

Though I didn’t magically feel okay right away, I did come out of the training feeling relieved that finally, I’m not alone anymore.

Today, for the first time in weeks, I woke up with the sunlight on my face. It seemed as if the universe was telling me, quite literally, that brighter days are coming.

Ps. After years, I FINALLY got a new bench PR! 60kg 😭

The goal is simple.

Lift, run, climb, read, meet people, create impact
And be useful outside of the gym.

Look good naked, have good sex and be an absolute unit.

This page exists everything in my life..

I decided to document it, not to check on my progress,

But to simply celebrate life.

In strength,

This year has been a year of firsts.

First time doing a running program,

First time expanding my studio,

First time doing life coaching for LEAP.

One of my first is doing this.

This was the first wall I scaled and my mind was blown how intensely normal this feels.

I never imagined I’d Reliving a childhood dream of scaling walls and traversing paths.

The little kid inside me is happy.

Doing this would brought out a lot of childhood memories.

To more adventures at 44 and beyond.

I don’t intend to grow old.

I’ll just let the years add numbers to my age.

Living life,
A
