The FIRST youth lifter to clean and jerk body weight (give or take bc they grow so fast!) here at Method. This small but mighty athlete, tops out around 29kgs, giving him his first opportunity to lift the BIG GREENS on an 8 kg bar. Let’s hear it for Jace!! He’s ready to throw down some big weights next week at Liftapalooza!

LIFTAPALOOZA IS BACK… AGAIN!!

Thank you all for your patience as we worked through some technical issues with BARS/USAW registration. As some of you may have seen, the IOC recently announced (drum roll… August 1st!) another change to weight classes, which caused limited options during the initial sign-up process.

The good news? Everything is now fixed and ready to go- “Liftapalooza 2026!” registration is officially LIVE! Be sure you’re selecting the competition as typed above, until USAW removes the OG with weight class restrictions.

Join us on Saturday, August 1st for Illinois’ first and only competition designed specifically for youth and junior athletes. We can’t wait to see you on the platform!
