On 31 January 2026 we took a small step — a weekly kettlebell meet at Cubbon Park. Today it’s a community I’m proud to be part of.

I’m grateful to God, to Akhila for her initiative in connecting us, and to the person who first introduced me to kettlebell sport (@coach.kavery ).

Their belief in this practice shaped my path; I remain humbled and thankful

The most important factor to know in kettlebell sport, endurance begins in the rack.
The athlete who can rest the longest in the rack while staying technically sound is often the athlete who performs the best.

🌸 What Men and Women Should Know About Menopause

The greatest gift we can give our loved ones is to remain strong, capable, and independent for as long as possible.

After menopause, estrogen levels decline. This can lead to loss of muscle, weaker bones, joint pain, reduced balance, and a higher risk of falls and injuries.

This is not "just aging"—it is a major physical change that every woman goes through.

Women: Strength training is one of the best investments you can make for your future health, strength, and independence.

Men: Please support the women in your life. Support your mothers, daughters, wives, girlfriends, sisters, and women friends. Understanding, patience, encouragement, and helping them prioritize their health can make a huge difference.

Strong women are built through education, support, and strength training. 💪❤️

Learn the right breathing for kettlebell snatch:

Use a 2‑breath cycle for 5‑min sets to avoid early gas‑out;

switch to segmented exhalations when forearms fatigue.

Breathe smart, lift longer.

As per my understanding & practicing/training with kettlebells, for kettlebell sport athletes the ideal formula is usually:

Sport-specific kettlebell sessions (skill + pacing + efficiency)

Dedicated aerobic training (Zone 2 running, rowing, cycling, etc.)

Strength work

Is the kettlebell better than other equipment?

No. But it is unique.

A barbell is great for maximal strength.
Dumbbells are great for unilateral training.
Machines are great for isolating muscles.

But a kettlebell's offset center of mass creates a different challenge.

It allows you to:

Move in multiple planes of motion

Link strength, mobility, and conditioning together

Train acceleration, deceleration, and rotation

Improve coordination, timing, grip, and body awareness

Flow seamlessly between movements

The kettlebell isn't better than every other tool.

It's simply one of the few tools that trains the body the way the body was designed to move.
