Coach @doshwoods & @coach_dubs ,

Thank you both for everything you did for me during my senior year at Denver. It was far from a normal season — a pandemic, a coaching change, and so much uncertainty — but even in a short time and from 6+ feet away, the impact you had on me was real.

My heart hurts seeing this chapter close for you at DU, but I know wherever the next door opens, success will follow. The way you treat people and lift others up is something special.

I know I was far from perfect and I wish I could have done more to help build the winning culture you were creating. I’m grateful you put up with me for that year (and even after — video proof above 😂).

More than anything, thank you for showing up every day and helping us grow as people. Even after I graduated, you both became people I trust and can lean on when life gets hard. You make me better, and you will always be family to me.

This profession often gets judged by wins and losses, but people outside the circle will never truly see all the lives you’ve impacted. From building culture, to serving the community, to helping young women grow into leaders — what you’ve done matters.

I’m forever grateful for both of you. Hold your heads high. You accomplished so much at DU — more than most will ever know. 🤍

Happy National Girls and Women in Sports Day!

So incredibly proud to be the first ever GM for Cal WBB!
I stand alongside game changers, on the shoulders of an ancestry of bad ass women, and lift as I rise in this profession.

Grateful for almost 30 years connected to sports and 12 years of choosing it as a profession. Sports have taken me to 10 different countries, 4 incredible universities, 3 Sweet Sixteens, countless friendships and have taught me invaluable lessons. Blessed, highly favored and ready to advocate for the next group of women to break barriers.

Let’s face the facts;

Girls have 1.3 million fewer opportunities to play high school sports than boys.

Girls are twice as likely as boys to drop out of sports by age 14.

Women hold 24% of college coaching positions.

Women hold significantly fewer leadership roles in sports.

Today we celebrate how far we have come, acknowledge how far we have to go, and continue to live dreams we never imagined.
