☀️ One last Rise N Shine… for now! 🏃‍♀️☕️

Join us tomorrow @atpoppys in @uptownwaterloo , 7am for a social 5K!

A little look back at some of our favourite Wednesday mornings with this amazing community. 🫶

From early miles to post-run coffee and bagels at Poppy’s, Rise N Shine has always been about more than just running. It’s about showing up, meeting new people, and starting the day on a good note.

As we take a pause on our outdoor mornings, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us, brought a friend, or made Rise N Shine part of their routine. ❤️

With Toronto Waterfront Marathon weekend here, it’s time to trust the training, enjoy the taper, and get ready to race! 🏁

We’ll be back when it’s time to move indoors at the Rec Centre. Until then, keep showing up for those miles and each other. 👟

SIX DAYS. ONE PREVIOUS MEETING. ONE BIG WIN. 🏆🔥

Huge congratulations to Liz and Trish on their Women’s Open Doubles win at HYROX Toronto this weekend!

When Trish’s original partner had to back out, Maria and Adam (@limitlessperformance) got hustling to find her a teammate. Enter Liz. With just six days to prepare and only one previous meeting, these two said YES—and look what came of it! 🙌

From a last-minute partnership to a finish line worth celebrating, this story has everything we love: friendship, community, and people showing up for each other.

Thank you, CTV News Kitchener, for shining a light on Liz and Trish’s incredible story and the community behind it. ❤️

A new teammate, a new friendship, and a BIG win. What’s not to love?!

Congrats, you two! We’re so proud of you! 👏🔥

2026 — you were absolutely insane.

This season, we hosted:
🔥 A sold-out HYROX STRONG
🔥 Race Prep for Ottawa’s first-ever HYROX
🔥 An unforgettable Fitness Festival
🔥 The biggest Halfrox we’ve ever hosted
🔥 One more incredible Halfrox to close out the season

But the biggest win of all? Having the privilege of cheering on more than 1,200 athletes this year.

From our incredible sponsors and partners to every local business, volunteer and team member who helped bring these events to life—we hope we made you proud.

Our mission has been simple since day one: bring communities together and create an environment built on positivity, encouragement and connection.

Watching athletes travel from across Ontario to race, support one another and become part of this community has been an absolute gift.

Thank YOU for showing up.
Thank YOU for believing in what we’re building.
Thank YOU for making every event possible.

We can’t wait to welcome you back next season—with even more to race for, celebrate and look forward to.

This community is something special. See you in 2027. 🏁

First Day of J/K ♥️

There was a time that I tried not to open up Instagram on the first day of school as it was pretty triggering. There was a day I thought I would never get to post one. Things are a bit crazy with a newborn and a 4.5 year old but trying to remember those days that I dreamed of this. 🫶 Blessed with these two little girlies. 💜

First Half Marathon in the books thanks to coach @jo_brown1 and @lpendurance . 1h53min at a 5:21/km pace overall. Happy…not satisfied…but at least I have a baseline to work with now. Will start putting in the work now for a low 1h40’s for the Toronto Half Marathon in October.

This is why we do it. ❤️

So many smiling faces.
So many first-time racers.
So many OG Halfrox athletes.

One incredible community that continues to grow faster than we ever imagined.

Every single person who stepped onto that turf on Saturday left a mark on us.

We watched people overcome fear. We witnessed resilience, grit, determination, and moments where athletes refused to quit, even when everything told them to slow down.

But our favourite part?
The finish line.

That exact moment when it all clicks. The relief. The pride. The emotion. The realization that “I actually did that.”

We felt it with every single one of you.

To all 500+ athletes who trusted us with your race day, thank you. Thank you for bringing your energy, your courage, and your heart. You are the reason this community is so special, and we’re incredibly proud of every one of you.

This is more than a race.

It’s a community that lifts each other higher.

We can’t wait to stand beside that finish line and cheer every single one of you on again soon. ❤️

Big shout out to Tash at @pacecreative__ for capturing the best moments! Make sure to give her a follow, she is incredible!

Another great weekend on the turf, this time at Hybrid Race Series in Kitchener-Waterloo, back in the Head Judge role supporting the standards of the sport.

With over 500 racers hitting the floor, including some young stars getting their first taste of hybrid racing, the energy throughout the event was awesome.

Great venue, solid race setup, swag, tunes and a packed race floor. Hybrid put together a really strong event from start to finish.

It was great to support the @hybridserieskw team and their event, and of course spend the weekend alongside some of the best people in the community who continue to put their time and energy into growing hybrid racing.

Always good to be back on the turf. 👊

What. A. Day. ❤️

HALFROX KW 2026 is officially in the books, and we’re still trying to find the words.

Over 500 athletes took on the challenge. Nearly 100 volunteers poured their hearts into making every detail come to life. Together, we hosted the biggest event in Hybrid Series history... and somehow, it all came together exactly the way we dreamed it would.

As organizers, race day always comes with a little bit of stress. You spend months planning, hoping every athlete feels the excitement, the energy, and the care that’s gone into every single detail. This weekend, watching it all unfold was something we’ll never forget.

To every first-time racer who stepped outside their comfort zone.

To our fearless Young Stars who proved that courage has no age limit.

To our incredible volunteers who showed up long before sunrise and stayed until the very end.

To our sponsors who helped create packed swag bags, unforgettable experiences, and supported this event from start to finish.

And to every athlete, spectator, friend, and family member who filled the field house with energy...

Thank you.

This wasn’t just a race. It was hundreds of personal victories, thousands of high-fives, countless hugs at the finish line, and memories that will stay with us for a very long time.

We’re so proud of what this community continues to build together.

Take a look back at a day we’ll never forget. ❤️

Shout out to @pacecreative__ for this incredible reel. More to come!

History was made at the @hybridserieskw Fitness Festival. ✨️

Together with @build.method, we were proud to bring the @deadly.dozen Fitness Test to the event where THREE DFT World Records were broken. 🚀

🔥 @coachadj + @polsky_1
DFT Row Male Pair — 15:58

🔥 @chelsiegrant_ & @ambertait
DFT Row Female Pair — 15:49

🔥 @justagirlwholifts__ & @camolife506
DFT Ski Mixed Pair — 18:24

Amber and Chelsie now hold THREE Deadly Female Pair records: DFT Row, DFT Ski, and Deadly Strong.

Phil and Kacey now hold both the DFT Mixed Pair Row and Ski records.

And Adam and Nick may be new to Deadly, but they are definitely not new to the hybrid scene, bringing deep experience from CrossFit, HYROX, and more.

Congratulations to all of these incredible athletes for raising the standard and proving that records are meant to be chased. The Deadly Dozen Canada community continues to impress us with the way they show up, compete hard and raise the bar 😤.

There are moments in business that make you stop and think, how did I get so lucky? ❤️

Saturday was one of those moments.

This crew—from F45 Doon, F45 South Guelph and Limitless Performance—gave absolutely everything to make our Fitness Festival come to life. Months of planning, problem-solving, early mornings, late nights, and a workload that was far bigger than I ever imagined… and when it mattered most, they showed up in the biggest way possible.

Every smile, every high five, every setup, every teardown, every question answered, every ounce of energy they poured into over 250 people helped create something truly special.

These aren’t just coaches or teammates. They’re my friends. My ride-or-dies. The kind of people who believe in crazy ideas and work tirelessly to turn them into unforgettable experiences.

I had more than a few pinch-me moments watching this team in action. I couldn’t be more proud or more grateful.

To every single one of you: thank you. Thank you for believing in the vision, for trusting the process, and for giving your whole hearts to this community. None of this happens without you.

Now… let’s catch our breath for a second.

Halfrox KW is just 17 days away, and with this team is involved, I already know it’s going to be something special. 💙🔥

Thank you @bg_mediahouse for capturing the day!

Photo is missing our girls @margomyoung and @leslieevinou who had to scoot out early but worked her butt off all day!!

LOVE YOU GUYS!
