A year apart.
But the biggest change isn’t just my body… it’s how I view it.

I used to want to be smaller.
Then leaner.
Then bigger.
Then I wanted to put on more mass.

I was constantly changing my body goals.

Eventually, I stopped making my physique the main focus and started focusing on performance.

Am I stronger?
Am I moving better?
Is my technique improving?

And ironically, when I stopped obsessing over how my body looked, my body changed anyway. I’m stronger, my performance is better, and I understand my body so much more.

Your body is allowed to change.
Your goals are allowed to change.

Progress isn’t always looking different. Sometimes it’s finally feeling different. 🤎

A little gym dump because honestly, working out has always been more than just physical for me.

There’s something about moving my body, getting uncomfortable, and being completely present in the moment that clears my mind. I leave the gym feeling like I can think a little better, breathe a little deeper, and handle whatever is going on outside of it.

It’s where I go when I need to clear my head, release some stress, and feel like myself again.

Sometimes I don’t need another solution. I just need to move my body and give my mind a reset.

The physical results are nice, but that mental reset is something I’ll never take for granted.

there’s something about learning a completely new movement that makes training exciting again.

currently in the beginning stages of learning power cleans, so there’s definitely a lot of trial, error, missed timing, and technique to work through 😂 but that’s honestly what makes it fun.

i’ve been enjoying stepping outside of what i already know and challenging myself to learn different movements, techniques, and skills. being a beginner again is humbling, but there’s also something really exciting about watching yourself improve.
