We Came, We Saw, We Conquered 🥇

I genuinely don’t know how to say this as it’s still not hit me that I’m Teen and Junior England champion but that i proved to everyone that I have a place in this sport and if you put your mind on anything you can achieve your dreams!

Here’s to the doubters and to the ones that said “I couldn’t be prepped in X amount of weeks” I hope I showed you I’m not just a “gym influencer” and I love this sport more than anything and most importantly that actions speak way louder than words!

This prep has been such a challenge for me with XYZ going on around me, the lonely morning and nights and endless cardio sessions, but we did it. It’s taught me so much about myself and the depths i was willing to go!

I wanted to personally thank @__danwatson__ for believing in me through this WHOLE prep, the days I had no belief in myself and let the talk slip through, the days I felt lost…

Sometimes, life gives you moments that reveal the true beauty of human connection. Our wedding was one of those moments for us.

Organising a wedding takes time, effort, sacrifice and love. But what touched us the most was seeing so many people put their own lives on hold, take time out of their busy schedules, and come to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives. Some travelled, some brought gifts, some offered their support, but above all, you gave us something priceless: your presence.

To our Senegalese brothers and sisters, our friends from Muscle Works and the gym, our Somali friends, and every friend, colleague and loved one who showed up for us — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made our day unforgettable, and we will never take your kindness for granted.

This experience also reminded us that sometimes, love comes from places we least expect. Some people surprised us with their presence in the most beautiful way, reminding us that true connection is not always measured by how close we think we are, but by the actions people take when it matters most.

We may forget many things with time, but we will never forget the people who stood beside us on that special day.

Nit nitay garabam — a human being is another human being’s remedy. Sometimes, the greatest gift is simply showing up.

You’ve gotta earn the right to lift the weight & not ego lift…

That being said sometimes you need to allow for some form slip in order to progress. You have to force adaptation and that sometimes means taking a weight that feels to heavy now and then working to make that a better set that’s more comfortable.

Don’t be scared chasing some load but at the same time make sure you’re not ego lifting.

Over this year not only have we completely transformed Josh’s physique but we’ve also made his life long dream of competing in bodybuilding a reality as well & not without bringing silverware home either.

Getting 2nd 🥈 in PCA first timers
3rd 🥉 in 2bros

Unfortunately no placing at the British finals but it was no negative feelings about it as the lineup was stacked and we know we just need to be bigger. We brought the trademark most peeled glutes on stage & it was an epic show to finish the season.

More importantly then the results the friendship we’ve built over this year has been incredible, love you bro 👊
