🤣 I met one on one with my AP Art students to review what they had uploaded and to give last suggestions on how to visually situate the images and look at the written evidence. I had a table set up with a meme from @byjosepharning . 🤣 my kids were like "you think you're funny ". #saxophonesgettinglouder

I am thrilled to share the fruit of the exciting opportunity for our student artist and school community. LHS student artworks will be showcased at the busiest airports in the world — Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport! The exhibit is the Airport Art: World Cup Edition. This exhibition offers an incredible platform for our students’ creativity to be seen by a diverse, global audience in a high-visibility space.

Selected students from Drawing I, Painting I, and AP Art and Design contributed to our World Cup–themed art posters featuring Team Mexico, Team Chile, and Host City Philadelphia. This exhibit will include nearly 50 schools and teachers across Georgia, and our students’ work will be displayed in a gallery space in the E Concourse. I will share the official installation date once it is confirmed.

Spotted them 7 but, got the Senior Night dub with some sophomore power at the plate. Junior settled in and found her grove after the 1st inning. Seniors got on and hit the Dr. Seuss "Run, Dog, Run.'

Young ones eventually will get it. We have to pay attention. Let me coach. Don't be distracted by the voices in your head or in the stands.

Bizarre Pizzas. This was one of the prompts from the first week of school for Visual Arts Comp I. Many of my students haven't had art since elementary or not even. They're learning how to work on their creative and critical thinking skills.
