Letting the lion out of the bag (Leo season is near)! 🦁
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my athletic coaching journey over the past 15+ years; and also to everyone who has been an ear over the past few months and consistently been praying in my corner!

While I’ve truly enjoyed my time as an ELA teacher, curriculum writer, and department chair, many of you know that my passion has always been rooted in athletics—and I’ve long desired to make it my full-time focus. I've been blessed to see my once freshmen students graduate from college, and I've been faithful over what the Lord has entrusted me with.

I’m beyond grateful that God saw fit to open the next door in my educational journey.

It’s official: I’m joining the Office of Athletics at Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD)—and I couldn’t be more excited!

Cue the shouting music! 🎉

April 1st will never be a joke to me. Why? Because it was the day, my relationship with my line sisters was signed sealed AND DELIVERED as we ALL E.X.celsior (3.9.06) and Blue ComplexZity (4.1.06) officially solidified our bond into the Blue & White Kingdom. These PHENOMENAL illustrious Ladies will forever have my heart and when I have daughters I want them to be as Amazing as every single one of them. Always love and respect Queens, you are my FAVORITE Zeta Line & my biggest Heroes. Proud of you all. Happy Zetaversary
