Dillon already had a solid level of fitness

He had build a solid engine with a big level of strength that carried him through anything he wanted to turn his hand to

But his nutrition always seemed to let him down

His body was more than capable, but he couldn’t quite get the nutrition side of the coin on point

Over time we worked on his individual fuelling strategies for events

Trialling, testing and adjusting.. using the data gathered to inform what direction we took him in

And now, Dillon compete at events with absolute confidence in his fuelling capacity

He knows what works

He knows what doesn’t

Because he put in the hard graft

Hours and hours of it

Until fuelling effectively was second nature

And that is the real win here

Now we just need some small tweaks every time he comes to an event

Nutrition dialled in

No more ‘what ifs’

Just confidence and awareness of what unquestionably works for him

Be like Dillon..

Leave no doubt

This will take f*ck around and find out to a whole new level. Less than a year to prepare myself for an Ironman. Drop a follow to see if I sink or swim.

Get up x

You should definitely always reach out if something is feeling off whether it’s motivation, nerves, fatigue or just general doubt in your own abilities…at the end of the day that’s one of the main reasons you have hired us as a coach. We’re in your corner and here to help 🤗

Lately I’ve struggled when running in the afternoon and I’ve definitely been overheating 🥵 so I was overthinking this tempo run today. A quick message to my coach made me put it into perspective and I relaxed!

Did it! And I pretty much hit dead centre of the pace range each segment ☺️

How does little old Combat Fuel compete with the big guys?

Well we don’t. Not financially however, we are not even in the same conversation when it comes to product quality and formulation.

Little bit by little bit we grow, almost a decade deep forging our own path.

We care about our customers and our products. Always have, always will 🫡🇬🇧

Flatter doesn’t mean easier.. sounds weird but I’d argue it can be much harder!

After 18 months of self-coaching, I’ve decided it’s time to get some proper expertise in my corner.

There have been plenty of highs, a few lows, some decent results and a lot learned along the way. But I also know I have a habit of doing too much, changing things on the fly and not always seeing the bigger picture.

Heading into 2027, I wanted more structure, accountability and someone taking an objective view of the training.

So I’ve signed up with @coaching.tc and will be working with Tom towards my goals for next year and beyond, I’ll also have the support of the wider team including nutrition and rehab, which was a big part of the decision for me.

I’m excited to see what a consistent block of well-managed training, with the right people around me, can do. 👊🏼

I’ll be sharing the process along the way, training, the progress, what I’m learning and no doubt, the odd setback as well.

This one means the world

I’ve been in @rob_f574 corner for over two years and the journey he has been on is nothing short of nuclear

from initial fat loss to a performance shift and then annihilating any endurance event he puts his mind to Rob’s journey has been one that everybody could learn from

Timing again he shows up… operating above 90% in everything he does and is one of the most consistent men I know

He has one thing on his mind every day - consistently adhering to the basics and never missing

He executes the strategy to the letter, and when he sets his mind to doing something you better believe he gets it done

It’s an absolute pleasure to be Rob‘s nutrition coach and what he’s going to achieve over the coming years is going to make what we’ve done so far look like the warmup

Rob personifies everything I look for in somebody who wants to perform at their best

Never aiming for the sexy hack that doesn’t make any difference

Always focusing on his fundamental basics that setting him up for success

Because he knows in the end that relentless push in the right direction means one thing and one thing only

Success, no matter what he sets his mind to

Right now, I’m actively taking on everyday athletes into the PERFORMANCE PATHWAY

If it sounds like something that you’re interested in, drop me a DM and we’ll chat

No automated hook word here just me and you chatting about food

One phone call with his dad changed everything. 📞

Tom Collins was in Thailand, ready to leave his Army plans behind for a life travelling and working abroad.

When he rang home, he expected a telling-off. Instead, his dad calmly reminded him why he’d wanted to become an officer in the first place—and the regret he might feel if he never gave it a chance.
