There are so few things in life we have control over, but breathing is one of them! If your breathing too fast and feeling stressed, put your hand over your chest, close your eyes and think about the sensation of air coming in and out. As you focus on that you will be able to slow the rhythm down. Control what you can and accept with the rest. #breathe #meditation #coaching #control

People people… how many of you “fell” into recruitment or HR?

I am from the era where we kinda just tripped and fell in… is that still true for y’all?

For a while, I used to feel like I hadn’t chosen it.

But then after a while I realised… it chose me.

Water flows through the path of least resistance. People people always be peopling. We can’t even help it.

Definitely in the case of @coachingbychez… amiright Chez…?

What do many women in HR wish they had?

A meaningful seat at the leadership table.

All too often we are kept just outside, or if we have a seat, we often find ourselves in a ‘Head of’ title vs our C-level and titled ‘peers’.

It has to stop.

We have to grab it as much as ask for it, in the energy and life force that we breathe into organisations.

@coachingbychez wishes this was true, and honestly most other women I do too!

We.

Table.

What do you think? Do you feel like you or your HR leader has a meaningful voice at the top table?
