🏴‍☠️ Temi Ajahnu TROLLED her whole college signing 😭
She kicked the Cal Poly bear off the table, faked everyone with "my favorite color's blue"... then flipped it.
Oh, and Carl Lewis (9x Olympic gold) is the coach. No brainer.
Congrats Temi 🎉 The Bay makes women athletes too, and we cover it.

Recently, there’s been a lot of discussion on what movement pattern is best to run fast and/or prevent injury. I think it’s good to have the discussion, but sometimes it’s never just a white or black answer.
1️⃣. I believe there is correlation between velocity & phases (drive, acceleration, transition, and top-end), Ground Contact Time (GCT), and the foot strikes and your gait cycle.
2️⃣. I decided to evaluate one of the best current movers there is @_coleman2 ! He utilizes “inside edge” mainly in his drive and beginning of his acceleration as he is overcoming inertia. However, during his acceleration and in his transition to top-end, his heel pushes out after takeoff (as some refer to as loading the bow). We have to factor in force production, velocity, and heel recovery because they can change how our body moves. - I will dive into this later in the week. • • •
At the end of the day the goal is to help our athletes move more efficiently and reduce the chances of injury while explaining in an easy way. Sometimes we forget that some athletes are freakish and have more capacity or capability to do movement. Just because one athlete does something different and is fast doesn’t mean that’s the ONLY way. And yes there are specific movements we all know are bad, but first we must analyze the needs of our athletes and their capabilities.
