If you know me I can almost guarantee you have heard me say the phrase “I feel the most like myself at PGC.” Reflecting back on the summer I can promise you that is still 100% the truth. Being in a gym full of people who exude the same love for the game as I have makes me feel right at home. Coming off of finishing my playing career this past season, I was unsure if PGC would feel the same as it had before. I was worried I might feel sad or bitter about basketball being over for me. Thank goodness I was wrong. PGC somehow felt more impactful than ever before. I found out the only way I can give back to basketball now is through giving my knowledge to the next generation of hoopers and showing them what true passion for the game looks like.

So, if you were a PGC athlete that I had this summer or either of the summers before, please know this: you all fuel my fire for this game. I could not be more thankful for every single athlete I have come in contact with in the past 3 years. I have learned more from y’all than you could ever learn from me. You all have impacted me so much. Thank you.

To the staff I had the privilege of working with this summer, thank you all. What an honor to get to share this unique experience with all of you. I have never met a more selfless group of people in my life.

As the summer is coming to a close, all I gotta say is it owes me NADA! After sitting out of everything for a year due to a ruptured patellar tendon, a lot has been rough for me. But my moms, my sister and my brother really pushed me to keep going. This summer with @pgcbasketball has truly reminded me why I do what I do. I was starting to hate the game because of what happened, but seeing the impact I was making this summer each week shed light on what was beginning to darken. Life is forever a test and all I’m trynna do is ace it, and this summer, I was definitely whipped into #SCHAPE #pgc #pgcbasketball

If you would have told me just over six years ago when I walked into my first camp with @pgcbasketball would have been the first of countless memories, friendships/relationships, and opportunities that would open up over the last 6 years I would have called you crazy…

But here we are, at the end of year two on staff with PGC just full of gratitude and appreciation for getting to spend my summers getting to pour into and invest in these athletes lives, and not just in basketball but in all aspects of life. But also for these athletes and coworkers who take their time to invest and pour into me. I don’t think some of those people will ever realize the impact they have made on me and my life.

I am so grateful for the relationships that I have gained through the summer of working with PGC and cannot wait to keep growing those as well as creating more in the years to come.

I am grateful that through the long days and late nights I get to see the growth in these athletes that they now get to take back home and teach others.

Thank you @pgcbasketball for continuing to letting me be a small part of these athletes journeys!

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted so here are some updates from the first half of 2026 ☀️🌱✨
Moved back to Ohio! ❣️
Turned 35 and celebrated 25 years of friendship with the best of friends 💕
Ran a few races 🏃🏻‍♀️
Monthly wine tastings 🍷
Tons of walks with the best dog 🐶
Dinner parties and family time 🥂
New friends 🫶🏼
Started a Run/Walk Club in my hometown 👟
Plenty of Pool time and Skate hangs 👙🛼
And baseball games of course! ⚾️❤️

After a lot of careful consideration with those closest to me I have made the decision to go to Wilmington University. First and foremost I want to start off by saying thank you to the man up above for giving me the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love. This wouldn’t be possible without my support system, my mother, sister, family, the Browns, and all the coaches I have had along the way. I would like to give a special shoutout to @mwftraining for being my coach, trainer, and mentor in this chapter of life. I would not be where I am in life without any of you. Thank you Monroe Central for bringing me in to the Golden Bear community and welcoming me as one of your own. Thank you @coachm_m for this opportunity, let’s get to work! Quacker nation 🫡
