LAST WEEK ON STAGE. THIS WEEK IN BED.

Last Sunday I was strutting around on stage in a sparkly bikini, heels and proudly earning my PRO CARD.

Fast-forward a week and I’m bloated AF like I’ve swallowed a spare tyre, my back’s completely fucked, and putting my socks on has become an extreme sport. 😂

Professional bodybuilder. Dodgy spine. Impeccable timing.

You really couldn’t make this shit up!

I’ve written a new blog about the rather unglamorous reality behind those stage photos, and how this whole crazy journey started with me stuck in bed in the first place.

Apparently, my spine didn’t get the memo that we’ve gone Pro.

New blog up now 🖤

IFBB Proleague Victorian Natural Championships
5 July, 2026 @ifbbproleagueoz
.
🥇 1st – Masters Figure
🥈 2nd – Figure Novice
🥉 3rd – Figure Open
.
I am proud of what I was able to bring to the stage. Every early morning, every training session, every meal, and every moment of self-discipline led to this. All whilst being a hobby in a hectic life.
.
More than the placings, I’m grateful for the experience and for meeting so many beautiful, supportive competitors. It’s amazing to be surrounded by women who push themselves to be their best while cheering each other on.
.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported me throughout this journey—my coach Dan, family, friends, and everyone who believed in me. Your encouragement means the world.

Now it’s time to switch off, soak up the sunshine in Thailand 🇹🇭, enjoy some recovery, and make some amazing memories. Then it’s straight back into prep to bring my best package yet to the stage in October.
.
The work doesn’t stop—it just evolves. 💪🏼✨

Backstage capture with Overall Fitness Champion Mel @anbvicofficial Melbourne Championships 2021
.
No stranger to the stage and also no stranger to the 1st place podium. This was Mel’s first time competing in the fitness division and unveiling her new more muscular and undoubtedly absolute best look to date. Self trained Mel came to Coach at @athleticonhealthandfitness to facilitate her prep. A kick ass decision. “I never thought I would be able to look like that!”
.
With our plans to compete interstate this season quashed at the last minute, Season B 2022 is the new target. With a million months some space in the lounge room and a set of 7kg dumbbells we got big plans. Game on goals!

WE DID IT AGAIN!!

@msfitnessaustralia we are always thinking of ways to celebrate "The Athlete", a way to broadcast and showcase hard working Australian athletes.

@magazinecenterstage is an International digital publication that recognizes hard working individuals globally that raise the industry standards. They feature exceptional and prominent faces and figures within the fashion and fitness industry.

We are proud to announce that EVERY OVERALL WINNER at @msfitnessaustralia and @musclemaniaustralia in the AMATEUR and PRO Show will be showcased in the magazine.

Every Overall Winner will be featured either on monthly covers or features within the magazine at their discretion. This offer is exclusive to @msfitnessaustralia and @musclemaniaaustralia Athletes only and it is a wonderful opportunity to be seen worldwide through Center Stage Magazine.

What does this mean for the athlete?

* An opportunity to be seen and recognised globally

*The potential to land sponsorship deals with various companies

*An opportunity to promote your personal business

As a Federation we are proud to promote that we are the only federation that strives to applaud and award our athletes in this manner. We want to give the athletes that participate in the show the opportunity to grow personally and professionally on a global level.

But it doesn't end there...

EVERY ATHLETE across the @fitnessaustraliaweekend will have the opportunity to submit a professional photograph of themselves, with a brief introduction of who they are/ what they do for a potential feature in the magazine. This will be entirely at the discretion of Center Stage Magazine.

We have opened the door for you to walk through!!

You want MOTIVATION? We just gave it to you!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to @magazinecenterstage for coming on board as our Official Media Partners for @fitnessaustraliaweekend and all future shows

ATTENTION FITNESS CLASSIQUE ATHLETES!!

Are you wondering what the judges are looking for when your on stage?

CONDITION: Clear and defined separation between all major muscle groups without striations, in particular :
Shoulder / Bicep
Quad / Hammy
Glute / Hammy

SYMMETRY: athletes should aim to present muscles that are fully developed. Ideally an "X" frame is presented:
Full shoulders
Developed lats
Tight six-pack
Developed quads
Full rounded glutes with tight hammies

The development of each muscle group should match.
ie. Shoulder and back development should match glute and hamstring development

STAGE PRESENCE:
You've worked hard it's time to show it off with confidence and a smile!
Athletes will do a Twalk followed by group Quarter Turns. Know your poses and know your walk.. practice, practice, practice!

We look forward to sharing the @msfitnessaustralia experience with you part of the @fitnessaustraliaweekend October 30
