POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Feels a little silly to post something like this, but I think I need to find words to express how grateful I am for this sport.

It all started with the Tyrants — a team that helped me relearn how to set and compete at a level way beyond what I played in the NAIA. A group of guys grinding four days a week just to step on the court together and compete.

Then came a new league, a new team, and new responsibilities. I took on the role of captain, and together we fought our way from Tier 2 to our goal of Tier 1. The shift from one game a day to five or six a weekend was real 😮‍💨.

It hasn’t always been easy, but playing with this crew has always made it worth it.

With all that said, I’m officially announcing my retirement from the Dawgs.

I love this sport. I love these guys. But it’s time for me to move on and find a new hobby — preferably one that’s a little kinder to my body.

The love and support I’ve gotten from everyone including the Carmel crew, the DFW volleyball community, and my family has meant everything.

To my wife — THANK YOU. From watching me barely get three points a game in San Bernardino to chirping and cheering me on until midnight in Chicago... I love you.

Who knows what the future holds but I am looking forward to what comes next. 🙏🏻
