Always a pleasure to have the crew from @englewoodfiretrai in the box for good ol’ Saturday morning PT!
Appreciate my man @coachweedo for running them through a solid partner/team Murph-ish WOD (mind you, with a 25lb plate in play). These guys will be ready for what the job throws at them.
Thank you @laurenelizabethphoto for the photo op.

The last two weeks have been wild- of course when Landon had a big weekend of getting his full leg casts and an intensive in Orlando … we ALL got sick.

So thankful for @obstacle.crushers and @diazneuropt for the incredible casting and guidance. We were not able to do the intensive but we are staying consistent with the exercises to keep his hips strong and aligned.

It’s hard work, but Landon keeps showing up with @coachweedo by his side… and maybe a little chocolate motivation too 🫣🍫

Always thankful for @crossfit_willpower and letting us use their facility to train 💪🏻

Another great day of training and getting stronger!
The focus was core strength and stability, areas where Landon really needs the most support.
He’s officially in his new @memoshoescom shoes, giving him the extra support he needs now that he’s no longer wearing AFOs.

Never miss a Monday!
The way you start your week sets the tone for everything else.
Cold weather, extra layers - we keep moving, stay warm, and make it fun.
These boys make it easy 😄

Special guest: (Lincoln) Landon’s 1 year old brother training for the Open 🏋🏼

Thanks @coachweedo

Key word today is… Trust.
Trusting the process. Trusting the work. Most importantly trusting the people who walk alongside you. Landon can get along with anyone but it takes time for him to trust you. Especially when he’s in his most vulnerable state like therapy, walking, being out of his comfort zone and being challenged.

I’m watching strength build, not just physically, but mentally with Landon. That’s why I’m grateful for a coach who pushes, supports, and believes every step of the way. He believes in Landon. But most importantly believes in the process.

If you’re looking for coaching or training, please reach out to @coachweedo. We are learning so much about his abilities and how powerful it is to trust your body. Again, any disabilities or none- he’s a wealth of knowledge that can help either way.

14 years sober today.
By grace, grit, and the love of my people.
My family held me. Jesus healed me.
Resilience carried me. Positivity kept me moving.
Still here. Still thriving. Still grateful.

Woahhhh did you catch that one crutch at the end?!
Back to the grind this week. Today was a tough one after a day off from school filled with playing and silliness, but we showed up and put in the work. Huge shoutout to Coach Weedo… and yes, we may have bribed him with chocolate chips to seal the deal 😅🍫

Best part about Coach Weedo is he makes it fun while still putting work. Anytime he hears “I can’t” we change it to I can’t YET. We use Kyrios suit for trunk support & dynamic flex casts for alignment and stability!

Alright, a little switch-up in workouts! Everyone meet @coachweedo a highly skilled personal trainer who works with everyone from professional athletes to adults and kids with disabilities. However, these “disabilities” will never define or limit us. Coach Weedo motivates, challenges, and pushes everyone to their next level.

For the next 6 weeks we’ll be focusing on strength training and mobility. Learning how to feel confident, capable, and strong with our movement.

Huge thank-you to @crossfit_willpower for letting us use their box! This is where mom and dad train too, so it’s become a family affair 💙💪🏻

11 years with my sweet Karter: from the very beginning, it has been us — learning, growing, laughing, praying, and navigating life side by side. In these 11 years, we’ve shared more moments than I can count… big milestones, quiet nights with lots of cuddles, belly laughs, hard conversations, more road trips and flights than I can count, games, celebrations, and all the in-between moments that matter the most. 🥰

We’ve explored new places together, cheered each other on, tried new things, stepped out of our comfort zones, and created memories that will live in my heart forever. Some of our adventures were exciting and joyful, some were challenging and stretching — but every single one of them is a memory with you sweet girl.

You’ve taught me how to slow down, how to be present, how to trust God more deeply, and how to love more fully. Watching you grow, discover who you are, and walk confidently in your faith has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. You remind me daily to lead with kindness, courage, and grace.

My sweet Karter, you are my biggest blessing, my greatest teacher, and my best adventure. I am so proud of the young lady you are becoming and so grateful that God chose me to be your mom. 🫶🏻🩷

Here’s to 11 years of memories — and a lifetime of adventures still to come. Happy Birthday, my kind, loving, intelligent little lady!🤍 #birthday #surprises #lovemygirl #daughter #decemberbaby
