Our guest today did an amazing job on educating our students. This visit was designed to challenge students to think beyond their initial conceptions and misconceptions and to use scientific inquiry to dispel the myths behind our special guest. Here are a few photos from a surprise visit from Cornelius today . 🐍 @cobbwater

It’s that bewitching time of year again—Cobb County departments are showing off their creativity in Gambrill’s Great Pumpkin Contest!

You can help your favorite pumpkin take home the trophy and support a great cause. Every dollar donated equals one vote, so a $5 donation counts as five votes for your favorite design.

Voting is open now through midnight, October 31.
The winning pumpkin will be announced at the Board of Commissioners meeting on November 12, with the trophy presentation on November 20.

To vote:

Visit the SafePath website and click “Donate” in the top right corner.

Enter your information and donation amount.

In the tribute section, select “In Honor Of” and enter the name or number of your favorite pumpkin.

All proceeds benefit SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center, helping create a community free of child abuse. Your vote doesn’t just pick a pumpkin—it helps protect children and support families across Cobb County.
