🎥 WALLS OF CHANGE RECAP ✨

What a night. 🎨🎶💫

From live murals and unforgettable DJ sets to new connections and familiar faces, Metcalfe Plaza came alive with art, music, and community.

Huge thanks to our artists @miquemichelle, @art.baobab, and @coblou, and to the DJs Tr!ck, Zuzzon, Pithra, QUEENYY, Nikoli, O:K, and Jay Function for bringing the energy all night long. ❤️

Special thanks to @cityofottawa for funding this project, and to @amashowza and @metcalfeplaza for helping bring it to life. 🙌

And to our community—new and old—thank you for showing up, supporting local culture, and making this event what it was.

This is Walls of Change.
This is community.
The best is yet to come. ✨

Last Friday felt special. Metcalfe Plaza became a living canvas filled with colour, movement and community. Thank you to everyone who came through, shared space, danced, connected and witnessed the murals come alive in real time. 🎨❤️

To our artists @miquemichelle @art.baobab and @coblou , thank you for transforming the plaza with your vision and your hands. To all the DJs Tr!ck, Zuzzon, Pithra, QUEENYY, Nikoli, O:K and Jay Function, thank you for building the soundtrack that carried the night. 🎶🖼️✨

A special thank you to @metcalfeplaza , @amashowza and @cityofottawa for supporting this event and helping bring it to life. 🙌💗

As Music.Art.Ppl, we have spent ten years creating, hosting and imagining events in this city. Every year we have watched Ottawa grow. More artists, more dancers, more dreamers, more people willing to show up for culture. We are grateful for this community and for this city we love. You have shaped us as much as we have tried to shape space for you. 🫂🥰

Thank you for being part of Walls of Change.
Thank you for being part of the last decade.
Thank you for being part of what comes next.

🎨 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: CoBlou

Meet Corinne Blouin aka CoBlou — an Ottawa-based tattoo artist, DJ, art educator and multidisciplinary creative whose work is all about connection.

With a background in community-engaged arts, murals and live painting, CoBlou creates dreamy, organic worlds that invite us to look beyond the veil and see our surroundings a little differently. Her practice moves fluidly between illustration, painting, tattooing and public art, always with a strong focus on creating connections through creativity.

And when she’s not making art, you’ll find her behind the decks as Bleu Pâle, exploring Ottawa’s electronic music scene — a world that continually feeds back into her visual work.

Catch CoBlou LIVE at WALLS OF CHANGE as she brings her unique visual language to the canvas alongside some of Ottawa’s most exciting artists.
