S P O T l i g h t ! ! !

I'll be the first to take over the @coburghouse SPOTlight space in 2026!!!

From 17th January until 1st February (weekends only) you can come and see lots of colourful KAZ jewels on display! ♥️💛💗💚💜🧡💙

Also as a wee bonus I'll have a special shopping event on Sunday the 18th when I'll be in the Coburg shop with my full stock box and some celebration bubbles 12-3pm so it's the perfect chance to try things on and find your favourite KAZ piece.

If you're unable to visit the SPOTlight you can make an appointment to visit the studio, or check out the online shop.

And January needs to have more fun, so for every KAZ purchase over £60 (from the Coburg shop or KAZ's website throughout the month) you'll receive a surprise pair of the mini studs for free!

So make sure you come along and visit the SPOTlight! Looking forward to a catch up with a few of you on the 18th!...x

My work focuses on the drama and atmosphere of the Scottish landscape. I am exhibiting in GLISK until Saturday 6pm and I hope that some of you can make it down to Dundas street. I am also so looking forward to being a part of Coburg House open studios. I have been going to this event for the last 10 years or so, and I can't believe I actually get to take part, and that I get to show my work alongside the incredible talented creatives that Coburg houses. Mark the dates, 7th and 8th of August 10am - 5pm. Come and meet the makers, chat and experience what these amazing people have created throughout lockdowns and the pandemic.

This is the last of my takeover posts, keep an eye on our stories for more content. Thanks for all the support, likes and follows ☺️💙💙💙

I am currently taking part in a duo exhibition at The Birch Tree Gallery on Dundas Street in Edinburgh until Saturday 31st.
We took inspiration from the Shetlandic word GLISK, which describes a gleam of sunlight through clouds. This exhibition is an exploration of the way light moves over the land, sea and sky.

We're open every day from 10am - 6pm if you'd like to pop in and say hi!! 👋

Coburg House have let me loose on their social media for a day! So I'll be introducing myself and bombarding you with images of my work.

I am a Scottish landscape painter based in Musselburgh and use my home and East Lothian as my inspiration for paintings. I absolutely love Scottish skies and weather and am constantly drawn to the coast where I can experiance the biggest expanse of uninterrupted sky to paint. Coburg kindly let me move in to the loft in January of this year, and being around incredibly talented and lovely people has been invaluable. Come see all our hard work next weekend at Open Studios, on the 7th and 8th of August.

From the savannahs of Africa to the tropics of the south India! I am sorting through work and contemplating the painting I showed a couple of days ago! In other words procrastinating! Having a bit of fun with “effects” too. On a dark November evening I am letting my mind linger in these special places........

On the easel. Detail. Ages and stages! Have to leave it today and revisit tomorrow...... Hoping to have it ready for our Open Studios @coburghouse .....! I can’t guarantee that the paint will be dry ( its oil on canvas) or that it will look like this! It is a longer landscape work. No idea what direction it is going in. It is getting darker in hues but then so are the evenings. I will be taking over Coburg Instagram on Saturday so look out for a few postings...... #coburghousetakeover #coburghousestudios #openstudios #lifeofanartist #oilpainting #fineart #studio #edinburgh #painter #artist #thepaintistakingover

Kenris Macleod’s spectacular textile works join Andrew Phillips’ works at Coburg House for the exhibition ‘A Darkening Thread’ which opens tonight. We are looking forward to going along this evening and seeing how the pair have curated the space.
