bulgogi mandu lasagna - it’s basically an extra large mandu that’s actually good for you 🙂‍↕️

🥟Follow @mumwithabun_nutrition then comment MANDU or DUMPLING for the easy recipe (no refined sugar, no gluten, no carrageenan, no hidden MSG, and no weird fillers)

friend, put the bag back in the HMART/Costco freezer right now and head over to grab the following bulgogi Mandu ingredients:
•grass fed ground beef (make sure it’s not from Argentina)
•garlic
•ginger
•coconut aminos
•white pepper
•acv
•baking soda
•coconut wraps (spring roll rice wraps work too
Optional: chives

If you think you are giving yourself / family a “quick, healthy dinner” with the popular frozen Mandu / Dumplings, your guts are about to pay a massive price.

Let’s do a little label-reading together to understand what is actually hiding inside this bag.

🚨 The Gelling Agent: Carrageenan
Look closely at the “Bean Thread” noodles inside the filling. They didn’t just use sweet potato starch and water; they added carrageenan - a red seaweed derivative notoriously used by scientists to predictably induce severe intestinal inflammation and gut wall issues in labs 💔

I’m all about supporting the tight junctions of the intestinal lining. If it’s torn that’s what leads to leaky gut and chronic immune issues / eczema / allergies. The National Organic Standards Board banned it from organic foods.

I hope this helps ♡

My husband would eat pre-made dumplings… and my kids & I would just sit there drooling. (True story)

✨ Follow @mumwithabun_nutrition then comment DUMPLING for the recipe.

With my gluten sensitivity and kids with food allergies, we couldn’t exactly join him. (Even though his crunch ASMR + the smell made us wish we could have some...)

To make a delicious homemade version, I looked closely at the ingredients in those dumplings, and I realized I could make it with ingredients I actually wanted in my kids bellies.

So I did.

But because I have zero interest in spending my afternoon folding 47 individual dumplings, I turned them into a dumpling lasagna. (:

Layer. Steam. Slice. YUM.

The coolest part: My kids helped make it—and then finished their whole bowl and asked for seconds.

One step at a time, let’s become better stewards of the bodies we’ve been given.

Soli Deo Gloria. 🤍

Nuggets, but make them low-carb. A coconut crunch crumb, a little cayenne heat, and a soft coconut wrap to hold it all together. Easy to make, even easier to eat. Recipe below in comments
