I am so thankful. For everyone who made a donation based purchase for these Seascape Minis 🌊

Thank you for helping me in my time of need to cover an extreme surgery bill for my sweet dog’s emergency leg amputation.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

(Dress from @shopcider . So artsy I had to get it 👩‍🎨)

If anyone is interested in similar paintings and size I can now take commissions for seascape minis 🌊 🧜‍♀️

In a study conducted by Professor Semir Zeki, chair in neuroaesthetics at University College London, participants underwent brain scans while being shown images of paintings by major artists. The study found that when people viewed the art they thought was most beautiful, blood flow increased by as much as 10% to the reign of the brain associated with pleasure — the equivalent to looking at a loved one. #keepcreating #artheals #arthealstheheart #arthealsthesoul #createcommune #ifeellikepainting #artisnotdead #artistsunite #artistsoninstagram #outofbodyexperience #neardeathexperience #souljourney

Phoebe had to have an emergency hind leg amputation yesterday. She had gone in for a tibia plate replacement (her prev. Owner dropped her at pound with broken leg) but things were a lot worse inside her leg than the surgeon anticipated. She called me mid surgery to get the go ahead to amputate. I’m still in shock my poor pup won’t have her leg but I am just thankful she’s alive and will no longer be in pain. I get her back on Saturday. This is an unexpected huge cost for me and although I try to do everything myself I have to ask for help if anyone feels lead to donate or spread the word. Surgery cost is 3.3K
We are doing direct donations to Venmo so that any fundraising platforms do not take a percentage. Please know I appreciate any help from the depths of my heart. Phoebe has been there for me throughout some very dark and lonely times and it means the world to me to get this surgery done for her. DM for active link ❤️

Theme of the week - getting lost from the chaos of life in these rich textures, subtle metallic tones and various brush & palette knife patterns. One of my favorite things is getting a cup of coffee in the morning and seeing my work in progress from the night before dry on the easel in the morning light. 🖤 Love seeing our artwork chilling together @jboymelerine 🎨 #artwork #abstractart #texturedabstract #largeabstractpainting #painting #goldleaf #silverleaf
