Join me Friday, 8/14 at @cocoon_philly for a shadow work workshop to learn how to integrate your shadow.

In this workshop, we will move through a guided process to transform shadow aspects of yourself. You can also use this process outside the workshop when you encounter shadow material in the future.

This will be a creative, compassionate and intuitive journey supported by:

🪘 A guided drum journey to connect with your shadow
🎨 Expressive art & journaling to explore your deeper parts
🌀 Kundalini-inspired movement to clear old energy
✨ A healing gong bath to integrate your energetic shift

This will be an intimate and deeply personal experience inviting self-acceptance and greater wholeness, held within the support of a group container for deeper integration.

Each week we gather for a shared slowdown, a group grounding, a collective prayer. We stretch our aging bodies, watch our wandering minds, and attune to the breath which gives us life. So much of our society, especially as men, encourages us to work harder, better, faster, stronger. Don't get it twisted, we are putting in some serious work every Wednesday night, but the goals here are softer - presence, attunement, acceptance. We are tapping into a different kind of power as we play with the limitations of our being, breath by breath, moment by meandering moment. If this calls to you, we hope you join us tonight or another one soon. Peace.

✨️We’re back again, holding down the fort while @ecstaticdancephilly is on hiatus! Join us July 19th at 11:30am for Sunday Morning Ecstatic Dance with Special Guest DJ: Morgana!

💜Sunday Morning Ecstatic Dance is a family-friendly, beginner-welcoming, freeform movement journey held in a trauma-informed and sacred container. A space to be fully yourself, ruled under loving kindness & consent.

✨️LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE @Cocoon_philly so reserve your spot in advance!

🔥Warmup Leader: Ariel E. Monroe of @deltae.m.wellness

💜This week's warm-up will invite you fully into your body, wrapping yourself in compassion while moving with flow, both solo and among sweet community. Together we'll journey from grounded stillness, up onto our feet, and invite in a little silliness.

🦋Ariel helps people comfortably navigate life's transitions while becoming better versions of themselves. Through Delta E.M. Wellness, she weaves together mind, body, and spirit care with mindfulness, massage therapy, gratitude, forgiveness, and intentional body awareness.

💜Nothing is mandatory. You are always welcome to stay in your own experience and move in whatever way feels right for you.

🎧 DJ Leading Our Dance Journey: Morgana!

🎶@djmorgana_jams is a New York-based Sonic Alchemist, Art and Music Curator, and Event Producer whose "Melodic Magic" blends Organic House, Progressive World Music, Melodic Techno, Psybient, and Trance into celestial dance journeys that unite, uplift, heal, and awaken.

💜Having performed at ecstatic dances, festivals, Burning Man, and wellness gatherings across the U.S., we're thrilled to welcome Morgana to Philly for this very special dance. You won't want to miss this one!

✨️Dance with us on Sunday mornings in gratitude for being alive. A space for unity, community & remembering our connection to a common Source.

🪩Rules on the dancefloor: no substances, no shoes, no talking, no photography. Get as weird as you want.

💜Lovingly organized by @boomboxben.dj & @blissfulbutterflyyoga

Instead of fireworks there were big ass rainbows and fat croaking toads. Instead of a parade there was ecstatic dance, kirtan and sound baths. Instead of BBQ there were nourishing vegan meals by legit chefs. There were nature alters, prayer flags, bear sightings and a boatload of ticks. Wonderful souls gathered in a yoga barn inspired by Patti Smith and a 6 foot black snake. Yoga with live music is🙌🏼

Our next workshop is Saturday June 27 3-5pm at Cocoon Philly in Mt Airy. Not just for couples—you can sign up with a friend or family member as well. The intention is that keeping the same partner for the whole two hours allows you to attune more deeply with your self and create a foundation for connection that endures long-term.
