Not sure where to ride in Bend? Kirin and Lev Stryker of @cogwild get that question a lot, and since they run guided rides, shuttles, and rentals all year, the answer depends on the rider.

First-timers usually start on mellow trails near town and end the day laughing about how worried they were that morning, while riders with a few seasons behind them might take the shuttle to Dutchman Flat and ride the Flagline Trail.

"Mountain biking brings the joy," Lev says. "It really does bring out the kid in us again."

Memories of the nutcracker mtb race. 10 years or so ago on the North Umpqua Trail! I would say the most challenging mountain bike event I have produced for a few reasons or most unique, and I know for the racers one of the hardest event they have ridden. Heading to Bend now to ride some trails, and prep for the Ring of Fire on 9/26! Congrats all who remember the nutcracker and congrats to all who finished one beast of a race at the nutcracker. @cogwild @thegreatumpqua @travelroseburgoregon #nutcrackermtb #umpqua

Green jobs, a summer youth paid internship through Nature Connect and Vamonos Outside. This internship gives teens the opportunity to build career skills in our local outdoor industry. Interns took the initiative and planned a week long summer camp where kids went to Alpenglow park for a bike ride, the High Desert museum for a tour, Farewell park to paddle board, the Downtown farmers market, Lava lands tourist hike and Paulina creek! Thank you to all of our partners who made this possible and our interns who have become incredible leaders!

The 2026 Trek Fundraiser is here! Support the league and your favorite team and you might just win!

This fundraiser is a cool way for your community to support your team. Here’s how it works: individuals purchase entries to win a Trek mountain bike and gear. As tickets are purchased, these super fans can specify a team as the recipient of their adoration. At the end of the fundraiser, proceeds are then split 50/50 between the team and the Oregon League. Each team that participates can use the funds for things like equipment, scholarship funds, and end-of-season parties. It can be an incredible boost to your team, plus you might just win a bike!

In addition to the cool prizes from Trek, we also have a spectacular pair of shuttle passes donated by Cog Wild (@cogwild). Cog Wild are long-time supporters of the league. Year after year, we are blown away by their generosity. Thank you, Cog Wild!

We helped clear Flagline yesterday as part of the crew doing tread work and removing deadfall, then we rode all the way to town today: 30 miles makes this the longest ride for most of the juniors 🤘
