POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

2026 has been tough for many reasons but I’m grateful for all the incredible new music we’ve been given to help us through the craziness. Two incredible @converge albums, @neurosisoakland surprises us with a masterpiece, @emmaruthrundle just put out an absolute classic, @beck rejoins forces with @nigel_godrich for an amazing release, @mastodonrocks delivers a total crusher, and I’m sure there are more to come. Makes me want to spend all my time in this space, working on new music for next year.

I’ve been a fan of @wednesday_gurl for awhile and was very stoked when @kennybeats asked me to help him finish off “June 2” that he produced with them. We mixed it at @theputnamhill on Kenny’s beautiful and massive sounding custom console. Great job on the tones @dss10k and @tovischenk 🫡. This song will give you the feels for sure.

One of my fav pieces of gear @overstayeraudio really killed it with this one, of course @coil_audio had to make a sneaky appearance

New at The Glow: A Coil Audio CA-70S tube mic preamp!

I’ve wanted one of these for a long time, specifically as a dedicated front-end for tracking bass guitar, but it was really difficult to track one down.

It it exceeds my expectations, sonically—that negative feedback knob is an outstanding tone control. Coupled with my @acmeaudio Motown DI I’m easily getting the best bass (and Rhodes!) sounds of my career.

If only Jim Lill (or Lil’ Jim, as I prefer to call him) had only compared his Focusrite Scarlett to THIS preamp we would have never heard of the guy, as I can assure you it sounds like nothing else!

Congratulations to the new owner of this beautiful Altec 250T3 console, restored and embellished with two sidecars by @coil_audio. Brokered with white-glove delivery and set up by @providencesoundandvision. We can't wait to hear the results of tracking sessions in this amazing studio. 🎛️

Today I had the opportunity of visiting the new showroom for @providencesoundandvision in Los Angeles to pick up (3) rolls of @rtm_tape 1/4" for an upcomming live-to-two track session with @chrislogan The showroom featured a unique one-of-a-kind Altec / @coil_audio custom console done in such a bad ass way that only the guys @coil_audio are able to achieve. Would love to hear more about the work done to this board on the comments. The showroom featured other unique pieces of gear from @harrisonaudio @shadowhillsindustries (Custom Providence Edition) and the unique @hum_audio_devices Input channel. It's great to have stores like these that support the Pro Audio Industry in Los Angeles. Thanks for your help! #watersoundstudio #coilaudio #providencesoundandvison #harrissonconsole #shadowhillsindustries
