Happy Mother’s Day to my mom, Wendy Close.
••
There are a zillion things I could thank you for that I haven’t yet, on top of the zillion things I have already thanked you for.
••
So here are a few more for the “have” list:
••
Thank you for being ALWAYS being the “everybody say cheese!”, temporary tattoo wearing, @instagram influencing, “let’s get a selfie!” taking, trailblazing, hipster-mom before it was cool to be called a “hipster-mom”, and most importantly, thank you for letting me grow up to be so big and tall and not “taking me out”; although I like totally deserved it more times than I can thank you for!
••
Happy Mother’s Day Mom.
••
And, thanks for having social media this year. It doesn’t feel weird to praise you to a bunch of strangers who might just happen to know you and maybe show you. Now you get to see it yourself first hand! Cool huh?!
