🇬🇧 🌮🌯

Ready for a tasty journey into 2 of the most iconic Mexican cuisine masterpieces?

@illustratedtacosburritos by Mauricio Velázquez De León and @lizzziedee , illustrated by me and published by duopress, an imprint of @sourcebooks , is finally available now! www.tacosandburritos.com and everywhere books are sold!

Fell in love with this book at first sight and i’m glad to have contributed with my illustrations. Also more than happy to had the occasions to cook and taste some amazing taco and burrito recipes in the book.

Thanks are due

to Mauricio and Liz: it was my pleasure to give shapes and colors to your words, also learn (and cook) so much because of you, thanks!

Many thanks to @jessicanordskog for art-direct me so amazingly, @mshell_mayhem who kickstarted the project, @jordanannkost , creative director, and all the taco team from duopress and Sourcebooks. It was so great working with all of you!

Additional many thanks to Kate from @collaborateagency for all the support given and to @isanogy for assisting so greatly with the coloring.

Have a great reading, cooking and... ¡Buen provecho!

🇮🇹 🌮🌯

@illustratedtacosburritos scritto da Mauricio Velázquez De León e @lizzziedee, illustrato da me e pubblicato da duopress, an imprint of @sourcebooks, è finalmente disponibile! www.tacosandburritos.com

Buona lettura, cucina e... ¡Buen provecho!

One of these 28 artworks is made by a human. The rest are AI-generated. Can you spot it?

As AI-generated artwork becomes increasingly indistinguishable from human-made work, how confident are you in your ability to tell the difference?

It is now more important than ever to invest time in understanding your strengths, refining your unique voice, and continuing to create work that sets you apart. AI does not need to be feared, but the right resources and knowledge are essential to identify it and stay ahead of it.

•••

It had been so long since I’d drawn on paper, I decided to do a quick sketch of my kittens using only one color of pencil 🩷 and of course, my favorite color.

I used my sketchbook from @cansonbr

And colored pencils from @faber_castell_br (including the box I received from them many years ago).

It’s always been my dream to have all these materials and today I do. Sometimes we complain about so many things but don’t notice our small achievements. ✨
