🌊 WELCOME TO OVERLOOK PARK! 🌊

On Monday, August 31st, Highlands celebrated the official opening of Overlook Park, the first new park created in the Borough since Cornwall Square in 2004!

Mayor Carolyn Broullon cut the ribbon on this beautiful new space, which was designed to offer residents and visitors a quiet place to relax, reflect, and take in the incredible views of the bay and ocean.

One of the most special features of Overlook Park is the incorporation of the original bridge pylons, along with replicas, preserving a piece of Highlands history while creating something new for the community.

The park also features powerful viewing scopes that provide amazing views out to sea, as well as solar-powered picnic tables with charging stations for phones and other devices.

Overlook Park was created as a place to slow down, enjoy the view, and appreciate everything that makes Highlands so special.

We hope residents and visitors will enjoy this beautiful new addition to our community for many years to come! 🌊
