6th Muzzle Awards Official Selection - The Door Creaks Written by Collins Abbott White.

Overview:
Moving to a rural church town with her mother and brother to live with her new step-father, Lilly thinks she’s about to start a fairy tale life, but when her forbidden love (a respected member of the church) shows his true colors, she finds herself in a prison of abuse and manipulation that she must endure for the sake of her brother while fighting for a chance to escape.

Writer Biography - Collins Abbott White:
After earning a master’s in Film & Video Production, he launched Other Vision Studios, a full-service production company capable of narrative, documentary, music video, and branded storytelling. With a foundation in cinematography and years of hands‑on leadership, Collins brings consistency, clarity, and creative rigor to every project, across genres and scales.
With a background as a cinematographer and Director of Photography, Collins approaches each project with a technical artist’s discipline. He built his voice behind the lens, learning to shape light, composition, and camera movement into emotional storytelling. That experience now drives his directing: every shot, tone, and rhythm is intentional, guided by visual rigor and emotional clarity across genres.
Collins now works as a freelance director, bridging narrative, documentary, music video, and branded storytelling with creative precision. His work has reached festivals nationwide, consistently drawing attention from juries and collaborators alike. Available for projects of any scale, Collins brings visual clarity and disciplined storytelling to every production, regardless of genre or team size.
A director’s job is more than execution, it’s leadership. Collins brings clarity of vision, technical rigor, and empathetic command to every production. On set, he aligns collaborators to a singular emotional and visual intent, steering the creative process while honoring each person’s contribution. The result is deliberate, cohesive storytelling that feels controlled, even in chaos.

Big weekend for “Can I Come In?”!!!

While I was in Chicago showing off our film, some of our cast and crew split off to represent it for the Atlanta Horror Film Festival @atlantafilmseries where we took home the Nightmare Fuel Award for stories that stick with you after the credits roll.

I couldn’t be prouder of our team and what we’ve been able to accomplish on this festival run. And we aren’t done yet! Thank you @atlantafilmseries for having us! And thank you @collinsabbottwhite @_scrane and @sonia_saporito_ for taking the trip out! I truly appreciate you guys.
