I have been a lover of @praiseart_ work from my first encounter at the Young Contemporaries bootcamp. I was always drawn to the solemnity and emotive quality to her paintings.
It was an honour to be invited to curate her solo exhibition with @relegallery

So thrilled to welcome you all to my debut solo exhibition opening next weekend, March 7 @relegallery Lagos.

Titled “Between a prayer and a song” and curated by @mswanawana , this body of work continues my exploration into what it means to exist between known and unknown and the emotional weight that comes with being in that space.

I have always looked forward to my first solo show and I’m so grateful that the moment is finally here. As usual, this body of work- rooted in both personal and collective experience- is so dear to my heart and I cannot wait for the world to experience it!
