🚨Pet Food Drive w/ Remedios Cat Rescue🚨 Our last day open for the season is Saturday, October 31st, yes it's our Samhain Celebration & Halloween & yes we will have some amazing vendors including Remedios Cat Rescue popping up with us in the afternoon! 🐈‍⬛🧡 Remedios is a non-profit community reliant cat rescue operation that's based locally in Ghent NY but services the surrounding areas through fostering and volunteer - led initiatives. They assist with local feline rescue, fostering, adoption & medical rehab, oftentimes relying on funding from the public & charitable community donations. This organization is at a critical time for funding and we wanted to show some community support and help them out bc we love cats and we love the idea of these services being provided in our area. If you're around our place on Halloween Day, please consider swinging by to drop off a wishlist item. They'll have a tent set up to collect donations + Deb will be on site with info on services they provide and how they operate in the local area. Details: ✴️ Remedios Cat Rescue Pet Food Drive ✴️ Saturday, October 31st ✴️ 12:00pm-6:00pm 📍The Greenhouse Cidery is located next door to The Chatham Berry Farm ✴️ Donations can also be left at The Chatham Berry Farm leading up to the day of the event. Hello Fall! 🍂 New season, new project! 🪏⚒️ Joe & Steven are taking apart the propagation greenhouse benches & replacing the side support boards. This greenhouse was the first production greenhouse at the farm and is passive geothermal & "planted" several feet in the ground! Lots of change, lots of cleaning & lots of work, but the refresh on this house will be worth it, especially with the upcoming winter season when all the propagation happens around here!
