That’s a hell of a patch.

Installing 36” FibaFuse over this oversized repair using Sheetrock 90 to embed it.

A patch this big needs a solid installation before getting into the finish coats. The wide FibaFuse lets me cover the whole repair without piecing together a bunch of narrow strips.

Trying out a borrowed pair of SurPro stilts.

A buddy lent me these to see how they feel. They’re built for bigger guys, which is something I can appreciate.

Been on stilts for years, so it’ll be interesting to see how these compare to what I’m used to. First impressions are one thing — putting them to work is another.

Anyone else running SurPro stilts?

Learning new tricks!!
How do you finish angles?
I’m an old dog trying to learn new tricks.
We’ve tried several different ways of finishing angles to be more efficient, easier on our shoulders, and maintain quality…
Here, I’m using a compound tube(probably too big) and an angle head. So far, our new go-to setup. Longer runs, easier on the body, and easier clean-up. And same quality finish.

I know I’m late to the party but I just got the chance to try out the Fat Boy Smoothing Blades from @columbiatools
These leave a perfect butt joint on the finish and I’m really happy I gave them a try.
