🎺 Columbus Jazz Orchestra opened its season on Friday with Ella & Louis featuring Byron Stripling and guest vocalist Carmen Bradford. The band is always impressive and Carmen was a hoot! I loved hearing her stories about her time with the Count Basie Orchestra!

🎵 We got to go behind the scenes to hear about the upcoming season and celebrate opening night and being on stage with these talented musicians never gets old.

Seeing the CJO is truly one of my favorite things to do in Columbus! The energy and talent are inspiring, and I just smile the entire time.

🎟️ Dinner downtown and a CJO show at the Southern Theatre make for a classy night out. Tickets are on sale now at columbusjazz.org

Out for Ella and Louis night @columbus.jazz !
I am a Jazz fan and if you never heard Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong sing together… well give it a listen. Two opposite voices that just work.

Also I know the damn black belt was fine I felt too dressy with it because we thought we might go to a dive bar after 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Also those leopard flats are @fitflop amazingly! So cute and I got them to wear in Paris ima couple weeks. They are comfy for walking to dinner but not an all day shoe for me!

We are so lucky to have the legendary @columbus.jazz Orchestra right here in our city!

The CJO just kicked off its incredible 2026-2027 season with an opening night at the Southern Theatre. For over 50 years, this world-class organization of 16 highly regarded local musicians, educators, and guest artists has been bringing iconic, big band performances to Central Ohio.

Under the direction of band leader and trumpet virtuoso Byron Stripling, last night’s opening show, Ella & Louis featuring Grammy Award-winner Carmen Bradford, was perfection.

If you haven’t experienced a live performance with CJO yet, you need to check out the rest of this season’s lineup. Head over to columbusjazz.org to grab your tickets for an unforgettable night out!

It’s always exciting seeing your work come to fruition, and even more so when it’s in print!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with CityScene Magazine on their latest issue and helping secure coverage for some of my amazing clients. I’m happy to have secured coverage for all of my arts clients, including BalletMet, Columbus Jazz, Opera Columbus, ProMusica Chamber Orchestra and Shadowbox Live (who even made the cover)! Eek!

And as if that wasn’t exciting enough, another one of my clients, Columbus Fashion Alliance, was also featured in the issue! I am so grateful to CityScene and to all of our clients for being simply the best. Here’s to a great season ahead, and as you can probably tell, it’s officially arts season! 🌞💜
