The OG Patient Zero💜🖤👊🏻

This idea was in my head since I heard this song. It’s also DV Awareness month and this is very fitting IYKYK.. If you read the comics or watched @marvelsjessicajones you’ll get it.

JJ, Kilgrave & Jewel are played by me 😂

And before anyone brings up the whole uncle Ben debate - IM TALKING ABOUT THE WOMEN DYING.

Yes, men do die as well, but there is a significant disparity between the two. Uncle Ben is referenced so many times throughout Peter’s life that he IS AN IMPORTANT CHARACTER. The trope is talking about characters that have been brutalised for no other point other than plot device with no plot development for THEM.

If you care so much about the men dying, maybe look into ‘defrosting’ and you can tell me the disparity there too - saying I have no media literacy is ignorant if you have nothing else to say. But I digress, I fear the people commenting are nothing more than losers that have never felt the love of someone around them

Tonight’s reading: Secret Six Volume One: Villains United, by @comixgail and @eagleshamd from DC Comics.

This one collects the classic Villains United mini series that led into Infinite Crisis in 2005. There were four total, and this was my favorite. It made me into a fan of Simone’s writing and I began picking up Birds of Prey shortly after. This was a Bonus Borrow on Hoopla this month, so I decided to revisit it. This was a great point in DC history—that buildup to IC and then 52 were mind blowing.

Finally getting around to opening packages 📦 and this was a sweet delivery courtesy of Michael @yellowbeaniecomics via a @thecomicunderground live sale.
.
My first PSA slab and what better than an @alexanderlozanoart cover for DC’s Supergirl Next Door 1. As a fan of both Supergirl and Lozano, I’d call this a win at a signed 9.8. The slab is heavy AF tho.
.
Also, took the chance to grab a couple @dragottaart signed East of West issue 2s to go with my signed/slabbed first issue. I’m ALWAYS grabbing @atomhues books when I see them, especially Wonder Woman, and @comixgail Batgirls! 😍
.
As if this wasn’t sweet enough, Michael even threw in a few freebie books & One Piece cards with a nice note of appreciation. Our CU community just rocks!
.
Fam, give all accounts in this post a follow and continue to grow your network of trusted sellers and amazing creators! ❤️🤟

✅ COMODIN. GAIL SIMONE

✅ Sobre los títulos elegidos:

▶️ BIRDS OF PREY.
▶️ WELCOME TO TRANQUILITY.
▶️ WONDER WOMAN (vol.3 #14 a 44).
▶️ PLASTIC MAN. con Adrian Melo.
▶️ VILLAINS UNITED (Infinite Crisis Tie-In).

New Comic Book Day Haul
Big week. There were like four new David Nakayama covers. We had Gail Simone with X-Men. More bad seed ties coming for Nightwing. Plus static in the new Titans I even had to skip a few things because I was going over budget. I love weeks like this.#comics #comicbook #comicbookcovers #newcomicbookday #haul
