Saturdaze was a full day — kicked off super early with inventory run for @thenourishspot , my #blackfamilyownedmicrobusinessoftheyear then off to keep my commitment to Roslin Spigner, my friend since the second grade, to come, meet & listen to NYS Gubernatorial candidate @reptomsuozzi & his running mate @reynaforny in person over breakfast at USA Diner.

I attended rhe event because food & beverage are needed on #constructionsites & in their corporate offices and at their events too.

I was excited to connect in a different venue with Regina P. of Pyramid Solutions who, I learned is already a happy client of @thenourishspot , my #blackfamilyownedmicrobusinessoftheyear 🙌🏾 I met @landofru of @committogreen & @alexismcsween of @youthconstruct , @amirzahlan of @tough_leaf and so many more!!

deeply grateful for all the amazing people who shared space, time, food, and resources with us over the last 2 weeks. it was a family affair and we gave out over 1,000 free, delicious meals, 600 free bags of locally grown produce, and raised more than $5,000 to support local chefs.

& big love always to @cafe.erzulie - back open in May for the community.

we’ll be back in a few weeks with more food.
