For those of you who follow me, you’ve maybe noticed that I love showing images of my contemporary abstracts in super traditional settings. It’s all about the contrast. Obviously contemporary abstracts like mine work beautifully in contemporary homes, but the less obvious settings catch my attention. I think Dream Keeper loved the opportunity to have its photo taken in this traditional room. Me too. Now it’s hanging and available in another beautiful place called Common Formme, an interior design shop in Edmonds, Washington (about a 25 minute drive from downtown Seattle), where their design team creates thoughtful, wellness-centered spaces designed around the way people actually live. Sold 🔴 - The couple who bought this piece first discovered it in my book of available work at the 2025 Festival of Arts, and after a year of wishing they’d bought it, came back to the Festival and found it still available in my book. This one is now in @commonformme in Edmonds, Washington, but it’s soon making its way back to their home here in Southern California. This is such a departure from my work, but a nod way, way back to when I did intricate pen and ink drawings. Creating it was pure play, pure whimsy. It’s called The Fun Factory, and it was clearly waiting for the home it found. I’m so tickled by this sale, and so honored by the delight of its new owners. Thanks to the Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach and Common Formme for the privilege of sharing my work with art lovers. @festivalpageant @commonformme
