AT EASE BREWING CO. Branding + Merchandise Project: For @ateasebrewingco 's 7th anniversary, we developed a celebratory sub-brand identity centered around a bold black-and-gold palette and a custom “7” monogram constructed from simple stencil-inspired forms. Digital designs included social media content and banners and in-house POS graphics. Alongside the anniversary campaign, At Ease introduced a special art-focused edition of their flagship beer, Presidio—named after the historic Army outpost turned National Park in San Francisco. Starting from a concept sketch by At Ease team member @coopervalencia , we refined and translated the artwork into a polished vector illustration featuring the Presidio’s mission-style architecture framed by the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. The limited first release of 1,000 collectible cans establishes a new template for future illustrated label editions tied to each unique beer release. Those who buy the 4-pack of the collector can also receive one of our custom stickers featuring a comic book style illustration of the brewery. To connect the collectible can to the anniversary celebration, the essence of the can artwork was distilled into a minimal graphic treatment printed in metallic gold ink on black apparel. To round out the anniversary experience, the brewery’s signature pint glass was updated with our design imprinted in a limited-edition reflective gold (normally green). © 2026 COMMUTER INDUSTRIES, INC. If you’ve been here, you’ve had a beer out of our branded pint glass. We really love these glasses, because they are able to present a wide variety of beer styles in a way that highlights not only taste, but also appearance and aroma! While the beer nerds in us (Mike) would have us serving each style in a different glass - space is limited around here. We’ve found these glasses to be very durable (just the other other day one fell off a table, *time stopped* and then it bounced off the pavement of the back patio and did NOT break) Also, we are able to nucleate these glasses (allowing carbonation bubbles to stream up from the center of the glass) and they stack! The glassware is a signature shape from @rastalglass_official called Craftmaster Grand and we get them branded in Lawrence, Kansas by @egrandstand. @commuterind right here in Sacramento, CA did the glassware design. We love our everyday pint glasses in green, but for 7 years, we went GOLD. It’s a fancy look for a fancy celebration! 💅 Get yours on Saturday, MAY 16. Get a GOLD glass to keep and a beer for $10. We’ll also have @letteredbymichelle here on Saturday from 1 until 5 pm so you can get your name (or something else fun) engraved on your glass for freesies!

GREEN LADY COCKTAIL ROOM Merchandise Design Project: Design a custom old fashioned glass for a tropical speakeasy style cocktail bar tucked away inside the White Sands Hotel in Waikiki. Amidst the allure of secrecy that envelopes this hidden gem lies a spot of mixological brilliance and inventive artistry. Our role was to develop an iconic signature glass that evokes the intimate, lush, and mysterious mood of the interior. Our original illustrations capture various elements of the bar, and offer an inspired interpretation of Vladimir Tretchikoff’s 1952 Chinese Girl (or Green Lady) painting. The 4-color design features variegated green tones and a “kiss” of vibrant scarlet for dramatic contrast. Slink into @whitesandshotel and ask for ‘Room 8’ to get your own @greenladycocktailroom glass while supplies last. © 2026 COMMUTER INDUSTRIES. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

WAITIKI7 is seriously **the coolest band in Hawaii!**🔥 I first saw their concert at the Hawaii Theatre in 2022, and it totally blew my mind. The stage, the sound, the atmosphere — everything was just magical. I remember thinking, “Wow, I can’t believe a band this amazing is right here in Hawaii!!” WAITIKI7 plays a genre called Exotica —a style of music that was born in the United States in the 1950s. It’s inspired by the sounds of tropical islands — gentle breezes, ocean waves, and singing birds — creating a dreamy, paradise-like atmosphere. You can also feel a touch of Asian influence in the melodies, giving the music a mysterious charm that feels both nostalgic and fresh. In 2023, I was invited by Abe (the founder) and Rand (the leader) to perform with them!! and honestly, my heart almost jumped out of my chest! 💓 Since then,🎵 2023 – first performance on vibraphone 🎵 2024 – played marimba for live shows & recording 🎵 2025 – performing again on marimba Every time I play with WAITIKI7, I feel so inspired and grateful. They are not only amazing musicians but also beautiful souls💖 Let’s celebrate Thanksgiving together at Blue Note Hawaii this year! Come enjoy a night full of great music, aloha, and gratitude🦃🎶 Don’t miss it!! See you there!💙 Two shows: 6:00 PM | 8:30 PM Thursday, 11/27 Tickets on sale now!!! ( Link in Bio!!)

Aloha GRAMMY® Voters! We humbly seek your consideration of our albums EXOTICA REBORN (Best Alternative Jazz Album) & ENCHANTMENT UNDER THE KIAWE TREE: THE WAITIKI 7 LIVE AT HOUSE WITHOUT A KEY(Best Recording Package). Recorded in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, both albums represent efforts that we are making to reintroduce Exotica music to Waikīkī, where it was born and popularized by Martin Denny, Arthur Lyman, Harold Chang, and others. Also taking inspiration from the sweeping orchestral soundscapes and scores by Les Baxter, Henry Mancini, and other midcentury American composers, our take on Exotica also calls on our musicians’ cultural literacies and updates the genre for modern audiences. Mahalo for your consideration!

HIDDEN LAKES Complete Home Interior Design Without a doubt, the greatest reward for what we do is the lasting relationships we build with the homeowners who hire us. Family is at the center of this redesign, and we’re forever grateful to be a part of it. Built in 1979, this large custom tudor style home sits on an expansive lot overlooking a lake in a well-established, picturesque neighborhood. The original design was undeniably stamped with the trends of the time, replete with dark stained woods, overly ornate fixtures, stained glass, awkwardly enclosed and sectioned-off spaces, a cramped kitchen, a compact family room, and a gigantic, imposing staircase that claimed most of the real estate in the entry and great room. Our design reimagines the entire downstairs level into a bright, modern, low-maintenance space that fit the family’s unique aesthetic and bustling lifestyle, with plenty room for family entertaining and large gatherings. Some of our favorite and most impactful features are the modern stringer staircase, continuous-flowing spaces, custom Flemish glass room divider, spacious chef’s kitchen, and bold use of color through tile and textiles. LAKELAND INTERIOR En Suite Design Faced with a series of obtrusive walls and awkward angles of the late-1980s, we stripped this en suite bathroom down to its studs for a completely reimagined, highly functional spa retreat. Our goal was to organize and reimagine the space in a way that felt spacious, light and airy, and easily navigable with an intuitive flow. To accomplish this, we adopted a clean and modern aesthetic with Scandinavian influences. Take a deep dive into this project, and the challenges we faced. Best of all, a BEFORE and AFTER visualizer on the website. Link in bio. General Contractor: @bryanpowell_granitebay Photo: Nick Miller © 2025 COMMUTER INDUSTRIES, INC. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
