Happy 7th Birthday to Us! 🎉

We opened our doors in 2018 and won Best Beauty Salon in Devon just one year later—what a start! Since then, we’ve proudly added 7 industry awards to our name.

After just 15 months of being open COVID hit, closing us for nearly a year. But we rebuilt, worked harder than ever, and soon had wait times of 4–6 weeks!

As we continued to grow, it became clear Cross Street wasn’t our forever home. After 3 years of searching, we found Tuly Street—a huge leap, full of doubts, excitement, and the unknown.

With the support of my team, family, and my husband Phil (who renovated the 1600s building in just 5 months!), we opened our dream salon in November 2024.

Now, 7 months later, we’re thriving in our new space and growing again!

To my amazing team— Sophie, Meg, Sally, Isla-my rock Phil, my daughters Grace and Holly, our family, friends, and most of all our wonderful clients: THANK YOU.

Your support has made this final part of the dream come true.

Here’s to the next 7 years 🧡

With love,
Kay

Looking back at these videos, I can’t believe how far The Retreat has come!
✨

What started as a dream is now a reality—and it wouldn’t have been possible without my incredible husband, Phil, and his amazing team. 💖 Their hard work, vision, and dedication turned this space into the beautiful sanctuary it is today.

From the stunning treatment rooms to the serene relaxation space, every detail has been crafted with care and love. Thank you, Phil, for bringing this transformation to life—you’ve made The Retreat everything I could have imagined and more.

Here’s to creating even more magical moments in this beautiful space! 💆‍♀️💅

Massive shout out to Crazy Bob and @trickyrst1 for taking time out of their weekends to get us there and back safely (kind of).
Great weather, great racing, great company and plenty of beers 🍻
