Reflecting on 2024 has me overflowing with love. I’ve created so many memories with some of the best friends I could ever ask for, the best partner I could ever ask for, and I couldn’t be happier. This last year has been the best year of my life and I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings 🥹☺️❤️

Balance-

Libra reminds us that each soul we encounter is a mirror, reflecting back parts of ourselves, helping us grow in compassion and awareness. We learn through relationships, through love and forgiveness, through the grace of simply being with one another. Just as Ram Dass would say, ‘We are all just walking each other home,’ Libra asks us to walk that path with an open heart, finding peace in the balance of giving and receiving.

May we honor the Libra energy within us—by cultivating kindness, cherishing the connections that bring us closer to our true selves, and embracing the beautiful, imperfect dance of life. ✨

Let’s carry the momentum forward 👐🏼💨
As we wrap up this week and dive into the next, let’s keep in mind everything we’ve learned and practice thus far, and our hearts in the game 💚💙

With practices sharpening us and a practice match on Wednesday to test our skills, we’re not just preparing for a game; we’re building the foundations of a strong team. Lumberjacks, let’s bring our best to the field, pushing each other towards excellence. 🙌🏼

With the match against the Seattle Quake on the horizon, just two weeks away, our first match of the spring season awaits. We can’t afford to lose focus; instead, let’s channel our energy, our passion, and our drive into every moment. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏾

Together, we are unstoppable. Together, we write our story.💪🏉 #UnityInRugby #DriveToWin #Rugby

👀✋ Communication isn’t just about words. It’s in the trustful glance before a pass, the readiness in our stance, hands up, eyes locked. Eye contact isn’t just seeing, it’s understanding. Ready to catch not just the ball, but the silent messages we share with each other as a team.

Let’s keep our communication strong, trust flowing, and always be prepared to receive. Because together, we’re unstoppable. 🤝🏉 #Teamwork #EyeContact #Trust #Communication

Practice for the spring season has entered its second week for the Lumberjacks!

Rugby is such an exciting sport. In order to help prepare for the spring season, here are a few things every rugby player can do:

1. Physical Conditioning: Focus on improving your overall fitness level. Engage in activities such as running, cycling, and strength training to build endurance, speed, and strength.

2. Skill Development: Work on improving your rugby skills, such as passing, catching, tackling, and kicking. Find a training partner or join a local rugby clinic or club to practice these skills regularly.

3. Game Strategy: Study the game and understand different strategies and tactics used in rugby. Learn the different set pieces, plays, and formations that your team will likely use during the season.

4. Teamwork: Rugby is a team sport, so it’s important to strengthen your teamwork skills. Focus on communication, trust-building, and understanding the roles and responsibilities of each position on the field.

5. Safety: Ensure that you have the proper safety gear, including a mouthguard and appropriate rugby boots. Familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations of the game to ensure your safety and the safety of your teammates.

6. Nutrition and Hydration: Maintain a healthy diet and stay hydrated to fuel your body for practices and games. Adjust your diet based on your training intensity and consult a nutritionist or sports specialist if needed.

7. Mental Preparation: Rugby can be physically demanding and mentally challenging. Practice mental techniques such as visualization, goal setting, and positive self-talk to enhance your performance and stay focused during games.

Lastly, enjoy the journey! Embrace the challenges and growth opportunities that come with playing rugby.
