Just finished up some of the first recording sessions for my album and some recordings with @d.bolder for a new album with @thetamaracksband! Before flying back to Wisconsin, I recorded “Dances of Earth and Fire” by Peter Klatzow at NAU. Today, we recorded my new arrangement of “Adoration” by Florence Price for marimba, vibes and trombone and selections from Bela Bartok’s “44 Violin Duets” at Lawrence University with @hauerb. Special thanks to my amazing colleagues and friends @r.d.saladin (@confluxduo reunion!!!!!) and @bricastillo.music for recording with me. It has been so inspiring to play with them again and I’m incredibly thankful for their artistry.

Now, it’s time for a break💤🎄

#tbt to the @confluxduo premier concert! 1. “Underground interlude” by @marcojschirripa. We’ve had the fortune of performing this piece at multiple different concerts and it’s one of our favorites to perform due to its groovy and lighthearted feel. 2/3. “Caño Cristales” by @rubendariogomezcomposer. A truly heart wrenching and powerful piece for a unique instrument combination that depicts the beauty of the river.

Some of many highlights from Parallel Lines by Dani Howard performed at the Lawrence Chamber Music Festival Young Artists Concert 2. An incredible challenging and rewarding piece to work on beginning to end. Full performance can be found on the Lawrence University Conservatory YouTube page
