would love to see you at ‘To Do Lists’ this weekend! We sadly had one of our biggest shows audience wise cancelled because of the rain/flood the other day - not what we meant by rainy day theatre 🫠

We’ve arrived in Edinburgh!! And completed our tech!! Here’s a cheeky poster drop … see you soon ✍️

“Ever since she can remember, Amy has written a to do list. And every day she must get through it to meet her goals. Until one day, she's forced to ask herself, what does it mean if you can't complete your to do list? Who are we without them? It's time she gathers the mounting years of dusty pages and faces the truth.

Obsession, grief, and the rocky transition from childhood to adulthood - join Rainy Day Theatre for an hour of confession, warmth and laughter.”

✨ full of heart, collaboration, passion n creative captions!!

I’ll be sharing the first work in progress version of my new show TORSO in two days time, Saturday 27th at 12pm, @seesawspace .

🫸Here’s a collage of images taken through different stages of the making of this piece.

🤝True collaboration is based off a variety of things, the main one being trust. Trust in the hands of grafters and crafters that they will hold you and your words safely and bring fresh fruit in the form of creativity and conversation; after all a fruit salad is not a fruit salad with only one type of fruit in the mix.

🫲I am so thankful for my collaborators on this project, you have helped build from little fragments a beautiful piece that takes an actual shape, and i couldn’t have done it without any of you! @adelaide__mars @marthab_a @lula_bluee @tombobraithwaite . Thanks for your insight, your elements, your time, your energy, your gentleness and your trust in me.

🫳We will be setting up a feedback station at the back of the venue for audience members to leave any thoughts, feelings, critiques or even ideas, as we will be continuing to work on this piece when it returns later this year!

Thank you again to @dividedcultureco @congoodwin for this wonderful opportunity, for the piece would not exist without your first push!

“BEARS, BEARS, BEARS is tense, unsettling and weirdly funny all at once” A Youngish Perspective

And that’s a wrap on our premiere run at Contact Theatre! Thanks so much to everyone who came out to watch and support our work. We are truly so excited by the response we’ve had to our show! So thanks to everyone who gathered round our theatre campfire with us to sit in the messy and unfinished conversations around gender and safety.

We are so proud of our incredible team of creatives who made this production what it was!
Big up our wonderful writer @natalielbeech, our director & all round leader @congoodwin, producer extraordinaire @lucylaverty our fantastic powerhouse cast @jennasianohara @jordanakkaya @shifaa.arfan 💕💕

“We need more of everything and everyone all the time. Nothing is in competition with itself or one another. We need to have equitable spaces.”

In episode 4 of Artists Talk, @andre_agius @congoodwin
@debbieisilluminated @florenceespeutnickless @mooneylwrites and @yusra_warsama make the case for more of everything.

More stories from writers with a rich understanding of working class culture, more working class leaders, more transparency, and more ways for working class artists to thrive in the industry.

Wow. The vibes were HIGH. Honestly I’m a bit lost for words 🥹

I’m sure you’ve all seen me banging on in me stories the last few weeks but… what an epic job this has been. One I will never forget ❤️

Working with some unreal talent across every department, the creative team @congoodwin @dividedcultureco , sharing the stage every night with these two sensational beings @jordanakkaya @shifaa.arfan , and never forgetting our @jeneferodell 🫶 it's been nothing but PURE JOY. I love you all endlessly!! What a role. What an iconic, empowered, electric woman I got the chance to play. I feel dead lucky to have been a part of it.

I’m fully in my feels about it being over. Although as Con said… it ain’t over till the fat lady sings, so pls… no fat ladies singing anytime soon thanks x

Thank you to everyone who travelled to see it, messaged me, supported me, reposted stuff, checked in, everything. Honestly feel like I’ve got the best people around me and I don’t take it for granted one bit ❤️‍🔥

It’s definitely not the end of BEARS BEARS BEARS 🧸🥹

But for now I’m hanging up the bloodied dress and getting in a bikini because bitch is off to Spain tomorrow 😭✈️☀️ yeeeeeeeehaaaa
