I have always found so much strength in the words and testimonies of others who boldly share their love for Jesus Christ online.

Some of the most beautiful insights I’ve gained have come from perspectives different from my own and it’s what inspired me to start this page.

I’ve come to appreciate even more the beauty of what each of us brings to the Lord’s work.

Different experiences.
Different perspectives.
Different trials and lessons.

Yet, a shared love for the same Savior.

Our unity was never meant to come from being the same, but from turning our hearts toward our Savior, Jesus Christ.

The One we are all striving to know, follow, and faithfully serve.

We talk a LOT about what it means to love like Jesus. ❤️

And sometimes, we get so caught up in defending our definition of love that we miss an opportunity to actually practice it.

Because here’s something I keep coming back to:

Jesus loved everyone perfectly. But He didn’t respond to everyone the same way.

He wept with Mary.
He taught Martha.
He offered mercy AND an invitation to change to the woman taken in adultery.
He invited the weary to find rest in Him.
He corrected those who needed correction.

Same Savior. Same perfect love. Different approaches.

And I think there’s something really important for us to learn from that.

Sometimes we assume we know what someone needs because of what WE would need in their situation.

Or because of what we believe is right.

Or because of what has worked for us before.

But what if, instead of immediately deciding how to respond, we paused long enough to invite the Holy Ghost into the situation?

To observe.
To listen.
To understand.
And THEN to serve.

Because sometimes the most loving thing we can do is speak up. Sometimes it’s to sit quietly beside someone. Sometimes it’s to offer help. And sometimes it’s to remind them of the strength God has already given them.

⭐️Divine love requires discernment.⭐️

And the beautiful thing is that discernment is something we can practice and develop as we partner with Christ.

We can learn to recognize our automatic reactions, exercise our God-given agency, and choose responses that invite greater love, understanding, and growth.

Line upon line. Interaction by interaction. ❤️

The grace and mercy of Jesus Christ is there for all who want to take it! His grace is sufficient to right every wrong, to heal every heart, to enable every weak thing… as long as we lean on Him! He is tough! He can carry anything you throw His way. You don’t have to be perfect to come to Him and ask for His help, just do it!

What if one of the most important things we can give our children before they become independent is trust in a loving Heavenly Father? 🤍

I love the way Stefanie explains this.

Prayer-because He loves us.
Scriptures-because He loves us.
Families-because He loves us.
Commandments-because He loves us.
Even opportunities to grow through opposition-within a life where He loves us.

Because eventually, our children start making their own way in the world.

They make decisions we aren’t there to help them make.
They ask their own questions.
They wrestle with their own faith.
They learn how to hear God for themselves.

And in those moments, I want my children’s foundation to be:

My Heavenly Father loves me. I can trust Him. I can turn to Him.

What a different foundation that creates than imagining God standing over them with a clipboard, waiting to see if they get everything right.

I want them to know the God who loves them, teaches them, guides them, strengthens them, and keeps inviting them closer. 💛

And I want that truth rooted deeply enough that when they need Him, they already know where to turn.

Have you ever sent your child somewhere without you and thought…

Wait. How are they going to be okay without me there? 🥹

When Stefanie sent her youngest daughter off to kindergarten, she started thinking about all the ways she had prepared her.

A watch so she could call.
Phone numbers memorized.
A teacher who knew how to reach her.
Ways to stay connected when Mom wasn’t physically there.

And then the thought came:

What if this gives us a glimpse of how Heavenly Father feels about sending US to earth? 🤍

He knew we would be away from His presence.

And He gave us ways to stay connected to Him including prayer.

I LOVE where Stefanie takes this analogy because this is only the beginning. She shares several more ways that sending our children to school mirrors the ways Heavenly Father has prepared and provided for us here.

And it is such a beautiful reminder:

We were sent here prepared, provided for, and deeply loved. 💛

Enduring to the End isn’t always “race vernacular” but rather daily life and things we do on a daily basis to keep the spirit in our lives.

Following Jesus Christ is a lifelong commitment, We endure to the end as we exercise faith in Christ, Repent, receiving the ordinances and covenants, keep the covenants and have the companionship of the Holy Ghost.

Elder Bednar said “The scriptural phrase “endure to the end” is a repeated reminder of the mighty spiritual change in our hearts that should be ongoing throughout our lives.”

Enduring to the End is made possible by Jesus Christ.

What do I REALLY want my children to know? 💛

Especially in the moments when I’m not there to remind them?

That’s a question Stefanie Da Silva has spent time thinking about and her answer is beautifully simple:

I want them to know that their Heavenly Father loves them. No matter what.

Through every stage.
Every mistake.
Every question.
Every success.
Every hard day.

Because as mothers, we won’t always be able to be right beside our children.

But we can help them build a relationship with the One who always will be. 🤍

And maybe that’s one of the greatest things we can give them not just answers for life, but the confidence to know where to turn when they need answers.

Oh, how we love Sister Runia.
this may just be my favourite talk from general conference!!
This concept of a loving father in heaven allowing us to go through hard things, sometimes excruciatingly painful things, is a concept that many people struggle with.
“How could a loving God allow this to happen”, is the question many people ask.
I love how she said this was something we learned about and studied in the pre-existence, and now we are living it in the laboratory of life.
we cannot skip over these difficult times in our lives, but we must go through them.
Go through them with faith and God and his loving plan for us.
Like her, I too thought that if I obeyed the commandments and was a good girl, that nothing bad would happen.
After losing three members of my family in a five- week period when I was 21 years old, I realized that is not true.
But like Sister Runia, I too have held tight to the gospel, and I have come through the other side, having trust in God and knowing that he loves me, is shaping me and wants me to have joy.
Thank you, @tamarawrunia , for clarifying this truth that can be hard for people to understand.
