Absolutely loved speaking at @mumsinbusinesshub this morning about the life-friendly approach and how we can achieve success without sacrifice.

Great to reunite with @thisishelenwalker too after The Momentum Day who told us to be aware of our 'wanky thoughts' which stop us from taking action!

What a fantastic group of women - huge kudos to Candice for creating this group.

Yes it’s about the grand themes.

The fact that women still don’t earn the same as men.

That the earning potential of Mothers is reduced and impacted for the rest of their careers after having children.

That female businesses are overlooked for investment or wealth creation opportunities.

But it’s also about the simple things we can do to help.

The importance of peer support.

For me, that’s everything.

Lifting each other up and not tearing each other down.

I’m grateful to be surrounded by inspirational women - my family, friends, team, amazing clients & collaborators, coaches, my professional networks and co-work space.

Give to gain is not the best slogan!

For me it’s giving without expectation of something in return. It doesn’t mean not valuing yourself or giving away your power - but having positivity and impact for the greater good.

It’s why I wrote my book and why I choose to work with the people I do.

Create the ripple and be part of the solution.

That’s the message I want for my daughters and son.

Happy IWD. 💜
