💡From Policy to Action!
As a member of the Promotions and Awareness Workplace Wellness Committee , it’s always a fun and fulfilling experience leading the Get Moving segment of the @workplacewellnessbb @molbarbados246 Wellness in Action Forum! 🎶💫🧠💪🏾

The National Committee for Wellness in the Workplace hosted its 3rd Annual Forum under the theme “Policy to Action” — a timely reminder that creating healthier workplaces requires us to move beyond policies and turn intentions into meaningful action.

It was an engaging, educational and productive experience, filled with opportunities to connect with colleagues, meet new people, share ideas and inspire others to take action towards healthier, happier and more productive workplaces.

Because workplace wellness isn’t just about having a policy... it’s about putting wellness into action! 💙

HRMAB proudly collaborated with @bajanfusion
to commemorate World Menopause Day. These are the conversations that as People Leaders we need to discuss more openly.

Repost

💜🌸 HAPPY WORLD MENOPAUSE DAY, LADIES! 🌸💜

Yesterday, at our @bajanfusion FUSION WELLNESS: Move Through Menopause experience, we were reminded of something powerful: the importance of community.

We connected, learned, shared our experiences and realised that we don't have to navigate these changes alone. We also recognised the importance of continuing the conversation, supporting one another and seeking reliable information and professional guidance when needed.

🌸 So today, I encourage you to:
💜 Be kind to yourself and listen to your body.
💜 Ask questions and seek support without fear or shame.
💜 Share your experiences to help another woman feel less alone.
💜 Extend understanding and compassion to the women around you.

Whether you are approaching perimenopause, navigating menopause, living in postmenopause or simply learning so you can support another woman, there is always room to learn, grow and empower one another.

Thank you to every woman who showed up, participated and shared during our Fusion Wellness experience.

Thank you @fairmontroyalpavilion for your outstanding hospitality, continued support and fantastic and tasty breakfast experience.

Thank you @hrmab246 for collaborating with us in raising awareness.

Thank you to @mindfulmovement246 for your engaging and informative conversation.

Thank you team @bajanfusion for trusting me and helping me create a beautifully curated experience for women.

Let's keep this conversation going beyond one day and one event!

Interested in joining our Women's Wellness Whatsapp Community 💫🧠💪🏾. Message (246) 284-5426 and we will add you to the group.

We are stronger when we connect. We are empowered when we learn. And we thrive when we support one another. 🤝🏾💜🌸

🌸💜"Community is important. We cannot do this by ourselves. Menopause is common
The symptoms are common, but community brings it together.
Comunity helps us to regulate and manage. Don't leave that out ladies. Come out, get involved, talk, engage and we'll make it through. ~Chauntelle C.

HAPPY WORLD MENOPAUSE DAY🌸💜

Our latest FUSION WELLNESS: Move Through Menopause experience at the beautiful Fairmont Royal Pavilion was a morning filled with meaningful conversations, practical insights, mindful movement, delicious breakfast and genuine sisterhood.

From learning more about perimenopause and menopause to understanding the importance of pelvic health, sharing personal experiences and making new connections, the ladies embraced the opportunity to invest in their well-being.

As women, we often navigate so many changes while continuing to show up for our families, careers and communities. Having a safe space to ask questions, share experiences and learn from one another can make a meaningful difference.

A heartfelt thank you to Jasmine Evelyn (@mindfulmovement246) for sharing her knowledge and expertise, to everyone who joined us, and to all who helped make this experience possible.

Thank you @hrmab246 for collaborating with us and helping raise awareness.

Thank you @fairmontroyalpavilion for your hospitality and the breakfast experience! 😋

And to the ladies who showed up ready to learn, move, connect and share—THANK YOU for trusting us with your time and experiences! 🥰🌸

The message is clear: Menopause may be a shared experience, but no woman should feel she has to navigate it alone.

💜 Let's keep talking.
🌸 Let's keep learning.
🤝🏾 Let's keep showing up for one another.

Here's to more Fusion Wellness experiences, stronger connections and healthier, more empowered women! 💫🧠💪🏾

What is Let’s Move Barbados: Know Your Numbers?

It’s an opportunity to raise awareness about Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). To walk, run, ride and skate for and with those fighting these diseases.

It’s a chance to visit our wellness village and get screening so you actually know what your numbers are. And to sample healthy foods that look and taste good.

It’s a way to connect and build a community of likeminded individuals who want to turn the tables towards a healthier more sustainable Barbados. A chance for us to learn to live longer and stronger.

So join the movement.

🏀💙 BACK TO BASICS: LEARNING THE FUNdamentals!

Every great basketball player starts somewhere, and at HOOPSTERS, we believe in building a strong foundation, one skill at a time! 🙌🏾

These girls are working on a simple passing and movement drill, learning to move the ball, communicate, work together and recognise opportunities to get into position for a shot.

🏀 But it’s about more than completing a drill!

As our players develop, we will gradually go deeper into the WHY behind each activity—helping them understand the purpose of the drills, improve their focus, make better decisions and recognise how individual skills connect to the bigger picture of the game.

Because learning basketball is not just about doing; it’s about understanding, applying and growing! 💪🏾

We’re building skills, confidence, basketball IQ, teamwork and a love for the game. And we’re having fun along the way! 💙

This is just the beginning. 🌱
