A resource center connecting LGBTQIA+ folk across country borders in Jamaica, U.S. & worldwide

🧡 A little help can make a world of difference. As a transgender Jamaican woman and LGBTQ+ advocate, I’ve spent years advocating for the rights and well-being of marginalized communities. But after losing my job in December 2025 and experiencing an assault, I made the difficult decision to leave Jamaica and start over in Brazil in search of safety and a better future. Unfortunately, navigating the refugee documentation process has been challenging, and I’m currently struggling to cover my basic living expenses while trying to find a way to support myself. Asking for help isn’t easy, but I’m putting my pride aside and reaching out for support to help me get through the next few months as I work toward rebuilding my life. ❤️ If you’re able to donate, every contribution makes a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing my fundraiser would mean just as much. 🙏🏽 Please support or share my campaign:
https://gofund.me/5b370a86f/ Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my story, share my link, or contribute. Your kindness gives me hope that I can get through this and build the future I came here to find. 🇯🇲🇧🇷 Link in bio

GULLY GIRLS FOR LIFE Digital collage 10/2026 Very happy to say @connekja have agreed that I can fundraise on their behalf , here in the UK to support their goal of connecting LGBTQIA+ folk across country borders in Jamaica, U.S. & worldwide, trans + queer Jamaicans were devastated by Hurricane Melissa - a year later, many are still rebuilding , made with support from @byzygyie a guiding helping hand! Happy black history month ! Here’s my Pan African contribution + here’s how 🫵🏽 can help! Buy my work, I’ll be selling physical prints @lambeth_libraries Black zine fair on Saturday 17th October + @overherezinefest Saturday 26th October alongside other prints for other regions including Sudan, Palestine , Congo + more! all proceeds donated with transparency (please refer to my “DONATIONS” pinned ig story for evidence) this collage is made up of images of gully queens (a community of LGBTQI+ youth in jamaica), a Jamaican home , sound systems , Lignum Vitae (Jamaica’s national flower) A rolls Royce cars + Rolex watches - a nod to the pen + pixel style founded by @shawnbrauch1 & Aaron Brauch Hoping my work communicates the richness + beauty in Jamaican culture 🇯🇲 , i don’t know which version I like the most so I included a couple!
