🖤The Shining
I was 13 years old when I chose this pocketbook from the rolling rack in our small town bookstore. I had no idea at the time how much this book would change my life. And this is the very book that I have now had for 48 years!

𝑴𝒚 𝒇𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝑺𝑲 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌:

🖤The Stand
I was completely blown away by this book! It is my most reread book ever and my most recommended. I love everything about it! And I really enjoyed the original tv adaptation. 😊 I’m

🖤Pet Sematary

This was hard to choose because there are a few I found scary. For instance, reading The Shining at age 13 scared me half to death! And also IT deserves mention. But ultimately Pet Sematary wins out!

𝑴𝒚 𝒇𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒆 𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏:

🖤The Body
🖤Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption
Which both of these I read in the Different Seasons collection. 😊

Please don’t make me choose between these two! And I think the films speak for themselves. Outstanding stories and films.

Also The Green Mile deserves a shout out! It would probably be next on my list.

And I feel the need to add that The Shining movie is a favourite of mine. But I don’t like to include it in a favourite adaptation list because they made too many changes. But as its own entity, it deserves all the stars!

El telegrama que lo cambio todo:

“Bingo. CARRIE es oficialmente un libro de Doubleday. 2.500 $ por los royaltis. Llama para detalles. Felicidades. Amo el futuro que tenemos por delante.

El resto es historia.

⚡Hola LECTANTES ⚡
