My baby project for @cont.tact
Working with textiles has always been a fun hobby of mine, getting to work this project with the freedom to incorporate so many minute details that I find personally valuable has brought me so much joy. Details such as paint splatter stains on the Mothership floor that get incorporated into the design and having the flexibility to hand pick each item, saving it from landfill and imagining the kind of person who might pick it up and fall in love.
Unexpectedly, it has also lifted a veil from my eyes that I didn’t know was clouding my creative vision, the last few years I have really struggled to find relaxation, pleasure or motivation in my creative outlets. But through working this project it feels as though I’m seeing my world in a new light.

We want to acknowledge and thank some of the artists and technicians working behind the scenes who brought our production for the nye indoor space to life

@jess.fitzpatrick who designed and created the beautiful giant suspended fabric piece

@interlooper_av who brought their technical ability and creative vision to the stage lighting visuals, building off a unique system produced by @ch.ops

@niki.audio.visuals who went above and beyond to install, program and run the room lighting

@ns_audiovisual crew who continue to support the vision and provide the gear and knowledge to execute

@translate.sound for their commitment to the craft and attention to detail

Thank you for being part of our 2025. So much love to all the artists, collaborators and clients we worked with this past year and to everyone who supported our work!

Some highlights included :

• Supporting @chelaetc for her set at Vic Pride @midsummafestival in Naarm

• Running our first audition and welcoming new artists into our sphere!

• Creating for Mardi Gras with a show for @girlthing_au @junipero_au @birdcage_syd

• Curating three distinct performances for @machinehall’s 2025 Open event

• Running a week long site-specific dance workshop & showing at @mothership.marrickville

• Re-working our Open performance in a future disco for @mondaydotcom at @machinehall

• Opening our studio doors to artists with our Artist in Residency program welcoming @emmawong___ and @jeremylloyd.s

• Collaborating on a dance floor rave performance for @cont.tact at @mothership.marrickville

• Producing our own show Unveiled with a month of performances with the support of @mothership.marrickville and @lesbians_incorporated_au

• Returning to @celebratethealias with a 90’s themed performance

• Flying high at @machinehall curating an aerial performance for @ubemarketing

• Returning to @girlthing_au sharing our drag kings and go go girls

•Crafting a street based durational performance for @sydneystreetfair

These are just some of the highlights though so many hours go behind these small glimpses of moments! Unseen is the training, the rehearsals, the long days in the studio, the oh so many emails & the number of people it takes to make each of these projects come together! It’s sure not easy running an arts business and we are sooooo grateful for everyone who has contributed to sustaining our creative community this year.

💕 Thank you 2025 💕

This has been both my most challenging and rewarding year of my life. Im sure its obvious from the photos but am finding myself constantly looking back to the start of the year in shock of how much has changed. I was scared to look at myself in the mirror, i couldnt stand being in photos, something had to change. And now... Well, i cant believe I have so many adorable photos to share with you all!

There is something so amazingly human about experiencing gender in a way that feels right deep down. You just know it in your heart and you feel a deep flutter in your belly when all is as it should be. I've finally found love for myself and a desire to be the best person I can be

Thank you to all the amazing friends who have helped me along the way, the amazing warehouse community who have helped me to share my art by booking me for so many events this year (it's so nice making your cute little ideas come to life), I feel so incredibly lucky to be so supported by everyone around me. 💕

I suppose... let’s see how deep the rabbit hole goes
