🐷 MISO & SOY GLAZED PORK BELLY ROLL Crispy crackling, tender pork and a sticky, sweet and savoury miso glaze. 🛒 INGREDIENTS * 1.5kg rolled pork belly * 1 tbsp olive oil * 1 tbsp flaky salt For the glaze: * 2 tbsp white miso * 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce * 2 tbsp honey * 1 tbsp brown sugar * 1 tsp sesame oil * 2cm ginger, grated * 1 garlic clove, grated 👨‍🍳 METHOD 1. Pat pork skin dry, rub with oil and salt. Leave out of the fridge for 30 minutes before cooking. 2. Roast at 240°C fan-forced for 25–30 minutes until the crackling starts to blister. 3. Reduce to 160°C and roast for another 1½–2 hours until tender and cooked through. 4. Simmer glaze ingredients together for 2–3 minutes until glossy. 5. Rest pork for 15–20 minutes, slice thickly and drizzle with glaze. 6. Finish with sliced spring onions and sesame seeds. 🔥 BUTCHER’S TIP: Keep the glaze off the crackling! Drizzle it over the sliced meat to preserve that beautiful crunch. Serves 6. 📍 The Lucky Pig, 452 Centre Road, Bentleigh. MISO & SOY GLAZED PORK BELLY Crisp crackling, tender rolled pork belly and a glossy miso and sweet-soy glaze. This recipe uses a 1.5 kg roll, with a hot start followed by a slower roast. The trick: rest the pork, slice it, then add the glaze to the cut meat. Keep it off the crackling so that skin stays crisp. Trying the drinks trend… but with recipes on a content shoot 😂 Dish 1: fresh, enthusiastic, ready to absolutely nail the day. Dish 5: still having a lovely time. Dishes 7, 8, 9 & 10: apparently we’re cooking everything at once now and survival is the only objective. I genuinely LOVE shoot days at our @content.bites studio. Cooking, creating and bringing ideas to life is some of my favourite work. But 10 recipes in one day? By the end, I’m absolutely COOKED 😂
